Services
The mission of our program is to provide for the whole child and foster independence by creating a stimulating and well prepared hands-on environment. The curriculum is geared to the age appropriateness of the children in each group, as well as to individual maturation differences. That the role of our teachers is to facilitate the optimal learning environment while observing and recording the development of each child in their care.
Our Preschool, Kindergarten, and First grade Montessori curriculum is based on an atmosphere of freedom, responsibility, and respect to explore. The four major areas in a Montessori environment are language, mathematics, sensorial, and practical life. Art and music are an integral part of each of these areas.
For those last-minute needs or irregular daily occurrences in your schedule, we offer tuition add-ons that can be tailored for you. Please note that you must obtain approval from the director before adding any additional days or times to your schedule. Tuition is based on our current school year calendar.

What initially attracted us to CPMS was that they accepted children as young as 2 and they didn't need to be potty trained first; the school actually helps the children with the potty training process. This is our third year and over the years we have seen our son go from being quiet, sitting at the back edge of the reading rug not wanting to participate, to raising his hand with answers to questions and readily engaging in class discussions. Now at 4 1/2 our son is very self sufficient and ready to begin kindergarten next year.
