Food insecurity among families, seniors, and children exists right where we live, in Commerce City, Thornton, Westminster, and across 34 zip codes throughout the county. The impacts of hunger and poor nutrition are serious: children suffer, health is undermined, and prospects for good jobs and life security are limited.
We serve inside and outside of the County, because we are here to help without exclusion! Adams County Food Bank is the largest organization in Adams County working to alleviate hunger and its companion problems: chronic undernutrition, heart disease, and obesity.

This is a larger size food bank. They are highly organized and serve a large cross-section of the community. Smiling faces and friendly personal service. Volunteers and community service people provide the muscle. My friend being a triple handicap person came home with 3 boxes of food. When I looked in her fridge to load it, it was empty. End of month food stamp blues was her explanation. Bless everyone that has a hand in running this place.

Very organized and very friendly. I would like to add a suggestion about your hours listed. I had to dig through a bit to find out about your holiday hours. AdCo FB is closed from (this year) Dec 20th to Jan 8th... I'm glad I didn't just trust the initial page hours and arrange to go there. Perhaps you could put a link from your general listing which shows your hours to "more detailed hours" page. Thank you!
