Glueckert Funeral Home is a full-service, family owned funeral home in Arlington Heights, Illinois serving the North and Northwest Suburban area of Chicago. Our staff of licensed funeral professionals prides itself on offering personal service that exceeds your expectations. We have built a sound reputation as honest, hard working and dedicated to those we serve.
One of the more troubling things we see when meeting with "at-need" families are decision makers that have no idea about what type of funeral the deceased may have wanted. Not only is it a time of great emotional stress, but adding the uncertainty over whether you are making the right decision can be overwhelming.
There's a lot that goes into planning a funeral, but making those arrangements beforehand gives you time to consider all of your options and make sure that you're covering all of the necessary details. The following checklist will help you to make sure you've thought of everything when you begin creating your personalized plan.

My brother Michael passed away on August 8th, John Glueckert helped us with his arrangements and as tragic of a loss as this is for us, I could not have asked for a better person to help us. During a difficult time it was reassuring to have someone at Glueckert who was understanding yet professional in guiding me through the process. They offered me options and spelled out costs and let me choose.
I know that several of my neighbors used them as well. Very caring and thoughtful people there. Chapels and coffee rooms were beautiful. Thank you Glueckert!

Glueckert is a wonderfully compassionate and well run funeral home. The guidance of all Staff is managed skillfully, patiently and with grace.
Our first interaction was in October 2016 at the wake/viewing service and subsequent funeral service for our son. Glueckert managed our 6 hour visitation and handled waiting lines of up to 1-1/2 hours for… guests paying respects to our special needs son. The following day they skillfully handled our funeral service and procession of 50-75 vehicles to the burial site.
