Denver Booker, an avid cyclist and bicycle collector, was looking for a way to turn his passion into a business and in 2011 Uber-bike was born. Working out of his home in Santa Rosa, CA, Denver started renting high-performance road bikes to people from all over the country and the globe.

As our local cyclists will tell you, road riding in this area provides miles and miles of beautiful scenery and nearly traffic-free riding. However, some our roads may not the best quality so we select bikes that would perform best on rough surfaces. We know that any bike is fine on smooth pavement but not all will do well on an uneven patched and pot-holed country road.
Whether you are looking for a state-of-the-art road bike, a casual cruiser, or something in between, we have it all. We also do trade ins on bikes, so if you're looking to buy, consider trading up. New or used, you can trust a bike bought at Sebastopol Bike Center has been thoroughly serviced and will be a great bike at a great price.
TRADE-INS AND BUYING BIKES: We are always open to discussing trade-ins and will buy bikes we feel we can sell. RENTAL FLEET USED BIKES: When we have them, we sell from our rental fleet which provides and great opportunity to get excellent uber-rentals for awesome prices, as well as cruisers, hybrids and e-bikes.
Whether you're new to the area, or want to try routes you've never done before, here are our suggestions for some great routes we love to ride and hope you will too. EASY RIDERS: If you're relatively new to riding these are routes which have hardly any climbs, and are mostly trail. This section also has some off trail, easier routes.

I went in for two items that were definitely there in the store. It would have taken about 90 seconds to figure out what I needed, but instead he acted exasperated and tried to tell me that it would have been impossible to figure it out without bringing my bike in, which is untrue. I even had pictures, which would have solved everything instantly, but he wasn't interested in looking. He didn't want to help, he just wanted to charge me to do it, like I'm sure happens with all the rich folks and their fancy bikes around here. Great shop with excellent service and selection. They answered so many questions over Facebook messenger and were always quick to respond. Their team is extremely patient and attentive. They offered to help explain different technologies/features in case I wasn’t already familiar — using a wedge in hydraulic brakes when the wheel is off for instance.

I have spent the last six months visiting every bike shop in sonoma county. I have been searching for two bikes for me and my girlfriend. I showed up at the shop on a ride about twenty minutes before they opened and they come out talked for a minute, told me they were closed and said to come back after noon. I was on by bike at the time. I went home and came back just wanted to check out the spot, see their inventory. Maybe buy a tool or two. Just picked up a new bike from Sebastopol Bike Center. It was one of their rental fleet that was never used due to Covid, so got a pretty good dea - $2,000 for a $2,500 bike!
They've got a handful of newish and used bikes left. They seem to specialize in rentals, but with Covid, they've got a lot of extra bikes they are selling. They've got 2020 Scott Addict 10 full carbon bikes with Ultegra groupset and hydraulic disc brakes for $2,000. My dad and I showed up to look for a mountain bike. When we asked about a specific bike he had hanging up he said he was too busy to take it down and let us look at it. When we asked questions about the bike he quickly and rudely answered with one word answers before we could even finish. I would take my money else where because they are too busy to sell you a bike.

If you want garbage service, go here. Took my adult daughters bicycle into the shop for a complete tune-up. As soon as we got the bicycle home the chain fell off. Immediately took the bicycle back and they graciously redid the chain. Hauled the bicycle halfway across the country delivering my daughter to college. First day at College, the chain fell off the bicycle again. The bicycle also will not shift gears. Pretty certain we paid money for absolutely no service.

During these times its always a good feeling to have essential businesses open. In this case our local bike shops..Went for a long ride and on the way back my back tire went flat..Called them and the owner was there and invited me to come right over. Great timing...He put the bike on the rack and found a nice long nail stuck in the tire...so much for puncture proof when it comes to those..He quickly replaced the inner tube and check to make sure the wheels were ok and got me on my way...I appreciated that he took the time to replace the wheel to make it fit properly and brakes were functioning

Minimal inventory. Very small shop. Sells quality branded used bicycles. I wasn't sure if it was just me who experienced staff rudeness. But I see other posted reviews speaking of rudeness. I won't be going back to this store. I wanted to purchase an item but they didn't have the specific type so as I was leaving the guy asked if I was not going to buy & when I explained he gave me a sour attitude. Two star shop.

This is a wonderful place. They have excellent service and great rental bikes. we recently rented bikes on a family vacation and were impressed with their customer service. The rental bikes were comfortable and well maintained. They were great about offering local riding tips. They even stayed late one day so we could return our bikes late.

Just wanted to tune my breaks and maybe change a pad, the guy wouldn't give me a clear answer about timing and was rude in general. That's the second time I went to the store after the first time where they did an unprofessional job tuning my bicycle. I just drove to 15 min away to another store and my bike is already fixed. Never coming back and I really tried and wanted to like that store. :(

These guys are great, fair, and trustworthy! Expertise in both old and new technologies. I had some difficult hard to diagnose noise coming from my full suspension mountain bike that they wouldn't give up on. They followed up with a part manufacturer, got a free replacement sent, all fixed and quiet again.

I recently purchase a used bike ( the best bike in the world as far as I'm concerned, Easy Racer Gold Rush) and invested in several upgrades which I needed to be put on it. Denver at Sebastopol Bike center did a fantastic job for a reasonable fee and made the experience a pleasure. This place has it all: good inventory, people who know what their talking about, technical and mechanical expertise, and are passionate about this sport, great location (easy parking) and they do business like so many other companies in town that make you want to be in Sebastopol.
