Great local Santa Rosa bike shop. I've been going here for years and they've done a great job of helping me out with whatever the issue was at the time with my bike. Very friendly and they have a cool selection of bikes and gear.

While visiting the area & riding Annadel I snapped a rear spoke on my Stumpy. Called on a whim to see if this shop could help me out and Daniel was very knowledgeable and honest. He fixed my wheel at 2pm on a Saturday! SAME day bike service is a Bay Area rarity IMHO. Much appreciated!

Great bike store! great service! i've bought quality used parts from them as well. found this place when the lame bike peddler wouldn't stand behind their product and breakaway took care of it for me. definitely recommend this place. i will never shop at the bike peddler or support any of their stores again.

We went in to buy a helmet. First visit I tried a few on but the tall gentleman didn't seem very knowledgeable about the different helmets in stock. His explanation of one was convoluted at best. We went outside for a bit to discuss which option was best for me and when we returned to the store, there was another couple being assisted. Because there seemed to be only the one staff person, we waited... and waited... and waited, without any acknowledgement from the staff person. We finally left.

So my previous review was not so good but I want to revise it. My ebike that I purchased from a store in San Diego (because no one in town had a bike small enough for me) needed to be checked out by a bike store. I rode it but it didn't feel right. I brought it back and Mika adjusted, cut down and lowered the seat, lowered the handlebars and readjusted the fender. It feels safer already. Thanks, Mika. Thanks to Sofie too! Hope this will do it!

Terrific service and products! All the employees are polite and friendly, all of them ride, and all of them are super knowledgeable about, well, everything.
I bought a bike from them a year ago and am delighted with it and with the service that they provide. Whether it was replacing a rear wheel on my 40-year-old Schwinn Paramount or fixing a bent derailleur hanger on my Salsa Timberjack, they can do it - and do it fast and well.

This is our go to bike shop. While the staff is friendly at the Bike Peddler & all their related businesses, the quality of service is WAY better at Breakaway. They listen well & every repair has been perfect the first time. Love, love, love this shop!

Breakaway Bikes has always been a tremendously reliable shop. They’ve helped me in a pinch on multiple occasions, and they are always willing to help solve a problem. Last week, I lost a rear shock bolt nut with a very specific design. I took my bike into BB thinking that I wouldn’t be riding for weeks until the nut was replaced. But one of their awesome mechanics found a nut at the hardware store next door, ground it down, and it was a perfect fit. I was truly impressed as I was back to riding immediately. I highly recommend BB!

Super pleased to find Breakaway Bikes. They were able to change my flat tire on the spot. Jacob is knowledgable, friendly with great service skills. Definitely a spot for mountain bikers to check out!

Phil and the rest of the crew are just fabulous! I had a custom bicycle made in Idaho and had it shipped to Breakaway to be assembled. They were so easy to work with and even gave me a couple of free service's to make sure everything was working and fit me properly. Customer service really is above and beyond.

Really great bike shop. Purchased a new bike for my son shortly after they opened a few years ago. Went back for maintenance needs. They are extremely competent, quick, and reasonably priced. I am so glad we have this great resource in Rincon Valley.

Breakaway Bikes is a locally owned and operated bicycle shop in Sonoma County. Phil and crew are tremendously knowledgeable about different gravel, cross, and mountain bikes. Rather than up-selling customers, they evaluate the rider's capabilities and needs before suggesting the bike or model. Highly recommend from racer to weekend warrior.

Breakaway and crew always helpful on and off the trials. Love the convenient location near park and ample selection of bike's, accessories and knowledgeable staff. BB has a great selection of kids bikes, custom builds and full downhill rippers. Check them out if you need a quick adjustment, tire/tube repair, or dream build.

I’ve been going to breakaway for a while now and they always have the consumable parts you need, like chains, bottom brackets and brake pads. They helped me with warranty claims and have been 100% professional. My wife and I recently came in with our 1 year old and the salesperson gave us loads of great advice on how to get him started riding and where to go. Thanks Breakaway!

Breakaway bikes is like family to me. The shop was a sponsor for the mountain bike team I joined and they helped me every step of the way. I had never raced before and continually went to the shop for help fixing my bike or suggestions for parts that I would need to complete an upgrade. Even if I was doing the work at my home, they were always happy to spare a few minutes and answer my questions. I recommend this shop to anyone looking to get into riding or just needs work done on their bike. They are an excellent shop.

I got my Fuji road bike 5-6 years ago and went on a long hiatus with biking a couple of months after the purchase. My bike's been collecting dust since I was away for college and busy catching up with everything else.
