Utilizing their more than 75 years of combined experience as owners and operators of both traditional summer camps and sports camps, the Fiedler Family has created a summer program which gives children of varying interests and abilities a chance to thrive at their own pace within a secure, fun-filled, family atmosphere.

There is virtually no end to the availability of fields, courts, trails and buildings. Boys and girls campuses each have dedicated athletic facilities and are separated by our 6 acre Brookwood Park and the best aquatics center in the camp industry. The facilities are equal for boys and girls as well as uniquely positioned for easy access.
The Sports Academy at Brookwood Camps makes sure that all of our campers feel safe, secure and comfortable while attending camp. We pride ourselves on making sure the whole campus, especially the living and dining areas, is clean, presentable and sanitary. All areas on campus are equipped with fire extinguishers and smoke detection devices.

The Sports Academy at Brookwood Camps brings in some of the top instructors in the world to teach and coach our campers in numerous sports and activities. You won't find the caliber of coaching and instruction we have at any other traditional camp setting. This allows us to offer World-Class sports instruction on par or better than the top sports camps, yet still give campers a well-rounded and fun traditional camp experience.

I had a similar experience to Amanda. My son came home miserable and completely fooled by what to expect and what they actually produced. If you cannot deliver on what you claim to offer, then don't offer anything at all. I tried reaching out to Scott (one of the owners) who never responded back to any of my calls or emails. It's really a shame, because he was looking forward to this new experience and was hoping to return the following summer with some of his friends. After this experience, we will never go back there again.

I had a ton of phone calls and emails with Scott and Jay before the summer.I was very specific on what my son wanted- the main item being to play soccer daily with boys his age. They promised they would deliver, and failed to deliver any of it. The Sports Academy lacked sports, activities, balanced nutrition, appropriate living conditions, cleanliness, etc. The man in charge of Sports Broadcasting yelled and screamed at the kids. A councelor was also arrested for being inappropriate with the children- and we were not made aware until weeks later. The stories my son came home with were horrifying

Cover-ups, "alleged" abusive counselor (was fired) and feeding the kids left-overs to save money are just a few of the things that went on this summer. Many children went home to escape this unsafe environment. And when some staff spoke up, they were fired. No water sports. Mountain biking was just a few bikes. Total scam. If a lawsuit doesn’t bring them down and put them out of business, I would be surprised. Stay away!

Brookwood camps is the definition of clickbait. They spend more money on advertising than the camp. From the horrible food, the inconvenient 20 minute walks to some fields, and the repetitiveness of some activities, Brookwood gave me the worst 4 weeks of my life. The camp was incredibly unorganized and it was planned almost hour by hour. The common response to a question would be “we will look into it”. My whole bunk left the camp at an earlier time than they were supposed to. The only kids who had fun were the 10 year olds and younger. Don’t make the mistake my parents did.

My children have attended Brookwood for over 5 years now and it is a very warm, family oriented environment. After trying other sleep away camps, we came here on the recommendation of a friend and never looked back. Scott and Jay treat each child as they were their own. My oldest was a counselor this year and has had an amazing leadership experience. We will miss this camp and camp family now that they boys are outgrowing it. We plan to stay in touch with the Fiedler/Brookwood family forever!!

My 2 kids have been going to Brookwood for 3 summers. The camp has been a fantastic experience. Both my kids took full advantage of the professional coaches at the Sports Academy, especially basketball and soccer. The high level instruction, combined with all around camp fun, is the best. The Fielders are the best camp owners and give every family personal attention. Can’t beat it.

We feel so lucky to have found Brookwood Camps for our son. This will be his 4th summer at camp - and every year his friendships deepen and his sports skills improve. He loves the opportunity to train seriously in the sports he plays year round and the opportunity to enjoy what makes summer camp so great: swimming, campfires, and hanging out with his camp friends and counselors. Brookwood has been so great for our family!

What an amazing summer camp!! For the past two years my son has been attending Brookwood Camps, and I cannot speak more highly about the value, experience, and multitude of activities for the kids. From sports programs, water-based activities, broadcasting, arts programs, horseback riding, and more. Not to mention they also employ some of the top professional instructors and coaches in the world. Brookwood Camps truly is what summer camp is all about. Thank you Coach Scott and Jay. Brookwood was my childhood summer home growing up and I now send my own 2 children there. They absolutely love it as much as I did. It’s been an incredible experience for both my 13 year old daughter and my 10 year old son. This will be their 5th summer at camp. They have formed lifelong friendships, gained confidence and independence and improved tremendously in athletics with the incredible coaches and professional athletes that Brookwood brings in. They are counting down the days until Summer 2020!
