Birchmont A Pierce Camp
Camp Birchmont gives your children the opportunity to begin the transition from the security of home and family to the independence of creating a new "home away from home." Camp Birchmont is a community which fosters a caring and engaging environment in a beautiful camp setting. We encourage our campers to actively participate in camp life and broaden their horizons by making new friends and trying new experiences.

At Birchmont, the highest values are placed on friendship, mutual respect and fun.
Services
You know your child better than anyone. We understand the power of camp better than anyone. Together, amazing growth can happen as we create a mutual investment in your child's future. Our entire program is intentionally structured to promote these goals and deliver an impactful experience in the life of your child.
You have our assurances that we will not share your information with anyone else or barrage you with emails. We will keep you informed with an occasional email regarding the Birch Peelings newsletter and information about our Alumni Reunions, which take place every 5 years and have proven to be a lot of fun and provide a great opportunity to get together with your old camp friends.
Every activity at Birchmont is undertaken with the concept that at no time should winning or losing be confused with a child's personal worth. We meet each camper at their activity level where he or she feels comfortable and confident. Once this is accomplished, or program progresses through building skills and providing challenge and fun.
SailingA fleet of sailboats enables our campers to learn the fundamentals of sailing, while enjoying the expanse of beautiful Lake Wentworth. WaterskiingWe have 4 specially designed ski boats, including two world class competition boats. In addition to skiing, we offer tubing, wake boarding, and skurfing just for the fun of it!
We have 12 groups, 6 girls groups and 6 boys groups. Our typical Monday through Saturday program day begins at reveille at 7:45 AM and concludes after evening activity at 8:00 PM. We also have many "Late Night" activities for our older campers as well. Schedules are produced weekly and based on camper input.

Both of my sons spent several years at Camp Birchmont. My youngest is finishing his last year this summer. I can not say enough good things about their experiences at the camp. Last year the owners went out of their way to offer some form of the camp during covid and their plan was terrific. Unfortunately the State did not allow it to happen. They spent a lot of time and effort which we appreciated. This year has gone off tremendously and there have been no issues. I highly recommend this camp to parents. The lake is tremendous the facilities are great and the owners are committed to the campers

Truly a magical place. Beautiful, pristine lake, breathtaking views, and very comfortable lodging. A place that still does it "the right way" after all these years. The sports and activities are all great but that is only a small part of what makes this place so amazing. For most adolescents that spend a few summers there, the experience is life changing. It teaches you self sufficiency, work ethic and, most importantly, camaraderie. I wouldn't be the person I am today if not for my time at PCB. I didn't think it could still be done in 2020...teens going seven weeks with no cell phones. The fact

I haven't sent my kids (both of them are in college) to the camp but I had a chance to stay there and observe for couple of hours during August afternoon. I wish I knew about this camp when my kids were young. I liked the nature and the fun/active environment where kids can enjoy the summer and grow strong physically and mentally. I was kind of stranded at the shore and all the staffs were so friendly and eager to help me out.
Thank you Laura!
Warmest regards,
Jiyoung
