Beth Sholom Day Camp, located in Roslyn Heights, NY is a Summer Camp for children aged 3-14 years old, serving Nassau & Queens. Our program encourages children to try new activities, build friendships and develop skills in a safe and nurturing environment. Campers participate in a variety of activities, including daily swim sessions, athletics, arts and more!
A minimum of 4 weeks is required. For summer 2022, our program includes a hot Glatt Kosher lunch, an afternoon snack and door to door bus transportation. Our staff implements an engaging curriculum, with intentional games as well as age-appropriate activities. We pride ourselves in our ability to know each child as an individual and facilitate positive relationships through team building and group activities.

Beth Sholom Day Camp is committed to enhancing each child's experience by providing intentional, age-appropriate activities for every group. Our curriculum allows campers to develop in athletics, creative and performing arts, and swimming. In addition to regular programming, our staff incorporates team-building exercises and games that help build group cohesion throughout the summer.
At Beth Sholom Day Camp, the staff plays an integral role in our camp community. Our Leadership Team works with our counselors to create a nurturing and fun environment that encourages campers to return year after year. The creativity and enthusiasm of the staff enhance our camp spirit and make our program truly unique.

Great affordable camp especially for children from Pre-K to about age 9! Small camp with lots of fun activities and a wonderful caring and attentive staff. The staff to child ratio is ideal. I like that there are at least 2 swim periods per day. One is instructional and one is free swim. Lifeguards and swim program are excellent. There is a huge selection of food for hot lunch and my children love the lunches. In addition to lunch, there are 2 snacks provided. I like that there is plenty of air conditioned space that is used when it is too hot to be outside. There is a diverse range of activities

The two "one-star" reviews are from disgruntled ex-counselors from BSDC. They had no children attend their program in any year.
I have two boys that have been going there for the past three seasons. They love it. Never a dull moment and they get great attention and positive feedback from the entire staff. I would recommend their program to anyone. How many camps have their groups get to swim TWICE a day, almost every day? And they love the food. No complaints here.

Beth Shalom is an amazing camp. Heath and Holly are great directors. The program is very well run and executed. The campers days are jam packed with fun activities and never a dull moment. My daughter loved swimming and all the activities and trips. She also loved the food.
