The foam support in my driver's seat was completely worn out to the point that it was causing or at least exacerbating some serious back problems that necessitated physical therapy. Driving was at times excruciating. After trying different seat cushions to no avail, I was worried I might have to buy a different car, but then thought to try having the seat redone. After getting a glowing recommendation from the service agent at the local dealership, I contacted Ken at Teeters and Schacht and am so glad I did!

Glad I found this place! I called a number of different shops and T&S was the only one to rerurn my call. Ken was very down to earth, friendly and very informative. The guy knows his business! He's currently working alone and has downsized his space. It's not the most organized shop I've seen, but don't be concerned. He did an excellent job on the front seats of my 2004 Honda CRV. We went to Teeters for a quote on a recommendation from a friend who recently had work done by Ken. We knew our job would be a BIG one, we wanted the front driver and passenger seats rebuilt with new foam, lumbar support and the original fabric retained. AND, did I mention our vehicle is a 1991 Land cruiser. Ken provided a clear and very fair quote. We returned to have the work done and.... WOW!! Amazing!! Ken did an awesome job fixing my truck drivers side seat! He went the extra mile and replaced all the top panels because they were failing. I walked in yesterday afternoon and today my seat was fixed! I dropped the truck off this morning!! If you need to get your vehicles upholstery done in Novato I highly recommend Teeters & Schacht!!! I have a lovely 2004 Volvo V70 that I just love, but the driver's seat was broken down and the replacement part was no longer available. I took the car to Ken Schacht to see if he could help me and help me he did. I just drove my car home and he did just what I needed. I am recovering from a serious back and pelvis injury so I had been unable to drive the car. With the seat repair my pelvis and back are fully supported. Ken has given me a new lease on life. Also, his prices are very fair and he and his lovely wife, Carol, are great people to work with. They really listen and help.

These folks are GREAT! I was referred here by the Mercedes dealer to fix my upholstery. From the minute I walked in I liked the place. It is an old school establishment. The owner is friendly and helpful, and very personable. They knew what they were talking about, and were able to fix my car the next day. Job was done in the time period they said it would be, and the job was great. Highly recommend them!

Ken does it again. I had the seat cushions in my Dodge Dakota pickup replaced at Teeters & Schacht a few years ago. The upholstery was in good shape but the seats had lost their support. The seats are now more comfortable then when the truck was new. I was having the same seat support issue with my camper van and the seat coverings were tearing and looked bad. Ken replaced the seat vinyl and added new cushions. The seats now look and feel great. If you like your vehicle and it just needs an interior upgrade take it to T&S.

I have a 2003 Mercedes S430 that is 16 years old with 148,000 miles on it, and she's my baby! My drivers side seat was split from years of wear and tear. When I reached out to Mercedes, they told me they don't make the seat covers any more because they were more than 10 years old, and that's were the god of seat covers comes in.
Ken said, "I can fix that and I'll make it more beautiful than a Mercedes cover". So Ken checked out the seat leather

Had a window tint done on my Tesla Model 3. I went to him because he was listed as one of the company's that sold a specific window tint that I was looking for. Also his reviews at the time were very good (all 5 stars).

Check photos for a better idea of window tints: Do your research and homework on what tint you want. I originally thought I wanted the CTX 35 based on the pictures I saw online of other jobs with it and using the online simulator. But when I came into Ken's shop and finally saw it in person I went with the CTX 15 on my rear windows. Happy I did because the 15% is as dark as I want from the outside, but inside it doesn't affect driving visibility as bad as I thought at night. Note that I had the AIR 80 installed on the front windows and the only time I notice it is when I am wearing polarized

Best place to take your car for a makeover!!! I've had windshields replaced, windows tinted and today I had a torn seat repaired. They sewed the seam back up, added foam where the seat was damaged from sliding in and out and also replaced a section that was starting to tear! Matched the material perfect!!! Bonus...I didn't have to sell my first born :) Staff is VERY friendly and my car was done as promised on time!

Ken, the owner is a nice guy running a honest car upholstery and window leaks service. He took care both our cars. Both our cars had rain water leaked from the sunroof onto our car's carpet...the carpet were completely soaked. Ken and his guys did a thorough job on both our cars. People there seem very nice. I highly recommend this place for car services such as sunroof leaks, upholstery, windshield replacement.

I've been using Teeters&Schact for all my cars & trucks for over 20 years. I've sent friends to them and never had any problems, everyone has said that they are pros! Now I'm getting ready to have them work on a (56 BelAir 2 Door Hard Top) that I bought back after selling it in 1987 to buy my wife her wedding ring. I showed up early to get a quote on repairing several chips in my windshield. Ken checked things out while I called my insurance. They came highly recommended by Jay's Muffler Shop and the only shop that I obtained a quote from. Ken was friendly, but he quoted $1800+ to upholster the driver's seat on my 96 BMW M3. The leather had to be ordered from Austria. He suggested covering in vinyl (as a cost saving) for almost a grand less, but I wanted leather as the car came with.
When I brought the car in, they estimated 5 hours to complete the job, but when I called that afternoon he wanted to keep it overnight. Apparently some of the foam had to be replaced. I picked up the car the next morning and it looked like a new

Yesterday had the pleasure of having my windshield replaced by these folks. Professional, organized, timely and pleasant: my interaction with them hit all the marks.
