I am a native of Mexico and have been dancing for over 45 years. I have learned traditional Mexican and Spanish dances from the beautiful Estelita Russek as well as other instructors in the Los Angeles area. In 1974, I established my own dance group by teaching at various local community recreation departments.
My desire was to provide a cultural alternative to the performing arts experience. My students enjoy learning and discovering a variety of cultures but more importantly continue to keep their own cultural and traditions ALIVE! I encourage you all to communicate more to the new generation about the beautiful Mexican culture, roots and traditions.

Services
For over 40 years, Esperanza Flores Ballet Folklorico Dance Group, Inc. has provided the community the ability to learn cultural diversity through dance. Our goal is to raise funding for dance scholarships, educational scholarships, and help offset the cost of our annual recital "Fiesta Internacional."
While we operate under different cities' community centers which has their own minimum age requirements, however our dancers range from 3 years old to seniors. Must be potty trained to participate. We are a ballet folklorico group specializing in traditional Mexican dances as well as Spanish dances and dances from other Latin & International countries.
