The place is fine, I was a bit unsure when I saw some of the reviews but moved in July 2021. The apartments are a little dated, however it gets the job done. The place is definitely cheaper and in less of a sketchy area than some of the apartments I looked at. Maintenance has always been prompt and responded to my requests within 24-48 hours. I would recommend the place if you are looking to start out here. I have not had a problem with any of the utilities and the internet has met my needs, as I tend to work from home some days and play video games with friends. If you are hesitant about the reviews

This place is the best place for stay. So close for grocery and malls. Also it is near Portage Creek and Bicentennial Park. Neighbourhood, environmont, community are perfect. We feel like we are living in nature. So warm and helpful officers (especially Brian). So many amenities here (e.g. pool, gazebos etc.) Thanks Walnut Trail Apartments for making this place wonderful to live!

Good place for starting out as it does help save money. Nathan is the only staff member that seems to really care about customers. We appreciate his hardwork and kindness.
Wish the staff and management here were more helpful. The “ we can only do so much, deal with it” attitude doesn’t help. In all truth though, your peace of mind basically depends on who you get as neighbors.

I've lived here for 4 years and have had very few complaints. It's a solid choice for sure. My biggest complaint is that you do not have options for internet service providers and the one you are stuck with is a bit bad. For 90% of people it will be fine though. Staff and maintenance are helpful, everything is clean and safe.

I lived here for 2 years. I regret resigning my lease after year one. This place never told me when I moved in that I was going to be moving into a smoking building. The smell just kept getting worse and worse as time went on. When I mentioned it to them they offered to move me but I would have to pay all these fees to move. Never once apologized. It was just easier to move some where else that was a non smoking complex. Anytime you went into the office the staff was not friendly almost looked at you like you were a prisoner and seemed like they hated there job. If you emailed the apartment about

Called over a week ago. Spoke to Jacob. I asked about filing out an application and 2 bedroom availability. He was clearly not thrilled to assist me. Told me he would gather a list of available 2bedroom apartments and said he would email AND call me. Its now almost 2 weeks later. Nothing. Got another woman on the phone, I got nothing but rude attitude. Its pretty clear they pick and choose who to rent to when they feel like working. Reported to the BBB. Edward rose is garbage. I have since looked at and been approved for other nicer apartments.

My boyfriend moved into a one bedroom that was completely renovated; new carpet, stove, and fridge. He was told the first week his screen door would be fixed/replaced, along with his request to fix the door as you have to put your whole body into it to open if not opened within a few hours. One big downside is if someone lives above you, you hear every movement they make, even talking in the bathroom. Overall, he is very happy with the apartment. Just needs a few replacements they said they'd do almost two months ago. Very large complex so understand they must be busy. Have recommend Walnut Trails
