My fiance' and I needed a place to live for a few months until our house was being built. We were so happy to find that Briargate Apartments offered that opportunity. The apartment manager, Justin, was very helpful in setting us up with a nice apartment to live in. We always felt safe since the front door to the building is locked and you have to allow guests to enter the building. It was a very convenient location in that it is in the middle of all things Westnege Avenue has to offer. This was a great stepping stone in our time of need and I would recommend Briargate Apartments to anyone that

I lived there 1 year and hated it. Had to call maintenance 3x to fix my fridge that died 2 days after moving in. It took them 3x to fix a chirping smoke detector. I got bed bugs and they didn't act very urgent or care about the issue. The hallway smelled like smoke all the time. They will charge you 1400 to break your lease and play games with you about moving out and lie about what your final rent is so they can take your security deposit.

This community is extremely beautiful, well kept and peaceful. Everything has been so perfect while I've been settling in. The office staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. I could not be in a better located amidst a lot of shopping, restaurants, parks and nature trails. They offer amenities that most communities around do not. I recommend anyone looking for a place to call home to apply here!

The shopping, there wasn’t rowdy activity going on here, I miss the big closet we had! Haven’t gotten another one that size since! I wish they had 3brdm cause my family expanded and we needed the room! I definitely recommend this place to small families who want a great area for children, safe place and the property manager JUSTIN! Is unforgettable! My family and I definitely felt welcomed and we were treated like family! Not just tenants!

Briargate Apartments is located in the most friendliest neighborhood of Portage. It has plenty of restaurants around it and is located very close a Meijer superstore. The apartments are in great condition. The property manager Justin is very helpful and responds promptly if you ever need any help. High recommended if you are looking for a place to stay in the Portage area.
