Services
In the winter months, a nice fire in the fireplace can warm up the whole home and create a cozy atmosphere. A well-maintained chimney will allow you to enjoy all your fireplace has to offer safely and efficiently. Unfortunately, if the chimney isn't in good shape, it can be incredibly dangerous, and there is a risk of a fire or smoke damage inside the home.
When you rely on Wilmington Chimney Sweep for your chimney service needs, you'll soon come to understand why so many in the area turn to us for their chimney needs. By working with us, you will get the most from your service experience, as we are experts in our field. We don't offer a cookie-cutter approach to servicing the needs of our customers.
A Level 1 chimney inspection is the most common, and is the inspection level recommended on an annual basis to make sure everything is working as it should and creosote buildup is minimal. A Level 2 chimney inspection is required when any changes have been made to the chimney system, such as conversion from one fuel type to another or repairs such as relining.
Chimneys are crucial parts of fireplaces, wood burning stoves and even furnaces. No matter what kind of chimney you have, chimney cleaning is a crucial part of chimney maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency. While solid-fuel burning fireplaces, stoves, and furnaces build up the most creosote, even gas-burning appliances should be inspected.
Homeowners should have any repairs done as soon as possible after the issue is noticed. In most cases, it's important to avoid using the fireplace until the repairs are done to prevent further issues that can be more costly to fix. Professionals can handle masonry repairs to ensure the chimney is structurally sound.

This business was great to work with. It's so hard these days to find a company that actually cares about customer service and taking pride in their work, but Wilmington Chimney sweep delivers on both. Wilmington Chimney Cleaned out my wood burning insert fireplace, installed a new flue liner, and even replaced the chimney cap. They had the permit ready before they began and even went ahead and scheduled the inspector when they were complete. The inspection passed.
They are definitely very busy, especially during the winter, so I would recommend not waiting till the cold season to get ahold of
