Dr. Jue joined the Juanita Vision Clinic in February of 2011. He and his wife, Dr. Natalie Lam, purchased JVC from Dr. Griff in August of 2011. He is very passionate in caring for his patients and believes in educating patients of their eye conditions, so that they can better maintain their eye health and vision.

I literally just got into my car after getting my sunglasses fixed to write this review. A screw had fallen out which caused the lens to fall out, too. I was running errands and was in the neighborhood, so gave them a call. I was able to make a pit-stop, pass off my glasses to them, and within 10 minutes, they were fixed. At no charge! I wish I would have gotten the name of the gal that helped me, long blond wavy hair. She was so kind and helpful. Thank you! I get headaches if I'm out without my sunglasses, so this was a huge help!

Made appointment after looking at the great reviews — so glad we did. My husband and I had annual eye exams with Dr. Jue. I really appreciate his positive vibe and friendly conversation. He took the time to answer questions that we have regarding how a surgery could potentially affect the eyes. He also explained things in a very easy to understand manner. We’ll be back :)

The Dr. and staff at Juanita Vision Clinic are really professional, and they know their stuff. They have made it easy for me to get glasses and make payments with and without my insurance. The staff across the board are caring and knowledgeable. I have reached that age {65} where some change in eye conditions is expected. The examination was thorough. Procedures are well explained. Questions were welcome and answered to my understanding and satisfaction. Good job getting fitted for a new frame. A tad on the expensive side but worth it. No high pressure sales on the frames.

I had a wonderful experience at Juanita Eye Vision. Dr Jue was extremely personable and very easy to get along with. He made the experience fun and light hearted! The reception staff were also great and they guided me through the process of buying new eyewear. I’m excited to get my new glasses. I highly recommend the Juanita Vision Clinic.

My appointment experience is very good, but I usually do not buy eyeglass frames at this office. The office is small, so their frame selection is as well. Also, the men's and women's frames are not separated, so trying to select something from their limited inventory becomes a chore. GREAT sunglasses though, love my Maui Jim's!

The staffs are very friendly and always provide me with a quick response. However, I am not satisfied with their opticians's skills and knowledge. I spent $1000 to get two pairs of Shaw Lens from the office. But I only later find out that their optician had little knowledge about SHaw lens itself and made terrible mistake on the Shaw lens form. Thus, I end up not getting the best quality lenses I should have despite I spent a lot of money. In particular, I found out my second Shaw lenses doesn't work for me in two months and abandoned it since then. I waste 500 buckets.

The office is conveniently located if you live in north Kirkland as it is right of the 405. The staff was friendly but they were running behind. Not a huge issue but when you take time off of work to make an appointment it is not ideal. I ended up not needing any glasses but they had a few cute sunglasses I tried on for fun. I ended up purchasing a pair, which they fitted for me, I paid in full and then left. about 2-3 months later I get a call saying they charged me the wrong price and I now owed them an extra $87 for the glasses or I could come return them and get my money back that I paid

I switched here from another (not-to-be-mentioned) clinic...and I'm so glad I did! Dr Jue is personable, knowledgeable, and straight forward. Best of all, he doesn't try to sell you on the most expensive contacts or services - much appreciated by someone trying to watch their budget. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because the staff that worked with me on my glasses forgot a number of measurements while I was at the clinic. They later texted me asking me to come back, which is a huge inconvenience for a working mom...or really anyone. But I think this is just growing

This is a great place to have your eye needs taken care of. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable and the examination process is thorough. Dr. Jue does a great job making you understand the results of the examination. Given the physical size of the office the frame selection is quite good with lots of different styles and shapes to choose from. I give 5 stars for punctuality. Every appointment that I have had started when it was supposed to. Can't say enough about that.

Dr. Ju is the more thorough, upfront doctor I've had. He explained all the little tests, what he was looking for, and what my results were. I was expecting a quick 15 minute appointment but he was in the room with me for a minimum of 30 minutes. I didn't feel rushed, I felt like he genuinely cared about my eyes and was pleased to answer any questions I had.
I did end up purchasing new glasses from the clinic. Usually eyeglass associates act like vultures, hounding me to buy the most expensive frames and upgrade everything to the max. The three ladies helping me were NOTHING like that

The outside of Juanita Vision doesn't look like much - a straightforward sign over a strip-mall storefront. But, you can't judge a book by it's cover, especially if you can't see the book because you need an eye exam. Juanita Vision is a really good place to get an eye exam, along with new frames and contacts.
The shop is small, but they use every bit of space, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have Saturday appointments and one late night per week, which is sooooo helpful for finding a time to get in, though you'll need to book well ahead for appointments

Dr. Jue is a peach. Great personality. The gals who help you pick your glasses aren't too shabby either! The best part is that they give you soooo much time during your appt. vs. rushing you through. They are great. It says "Juanita Vision Clinic" but to me, it's closer to Totem Lake. So whether you are in Totem Lake or Juanita, it's conveniently located.

Not only was my previous optometrist wasn't very friendly and they had gotten my prescription wrong. When I went back to have it corrected, they made me feel as if I was the one in the wrong and I had no right to come back in for a correction. Needless to say, it was time for me to search for a new optometrist.

I had booked an appointment here, but unfortunately I had to cancel at the last minute. I am an Oncology Nurse, and an emergency came up at work and I had to take care of it.
Dr Jue sent me the most delightful and understanding letter, and he waved the cancellation fee. From the contents of the letter I can see that he is a kind and generous man. I think that he would be a super eye doctor to go to.

This little strip mall shop is just amazing. I came here on the recommendation of my optometrist to have prescription filled two years ago. I don't know how to explain the over-the-top attention to detail and actual interest in providing amazing customer service. I scratched my over-a year-old prescription glasses and they were able to get my glass replaced free of charge even though I was no longer covered. Not only that, the girl who helped me remembered me from a year ago. They have done two pairs of glasses for me and my satisfaction level is through the roof...and if you look at

Juanita Vision Clinic deserves five stars and more. Dr. Jue is awesome - whether you wear contacts or glasses, he takes the time to make sure you're getting the best fit. In my particular case, it took trying several different contacts (and several follow up visits) before I found a pair that really worked for me. Dr. Jue explained the pros and cons of the different options I had available. The experience at Juanita Vision Clinic was 100 times better than at my last provider. Plus, I had no idea that contacts could be so comfortable! I was also impressed with his front desk staff
