Ms.Payne handled every aspect of my case including custody and financial employment issues with precision and she's very effective in a court room because she's ethical, polite but also a fierce advocate for her client. I came to her with a custody case that had been handled by a lazy attorney who promised a lot, overbilled and and put me in a physically dangerous position with my child. Ms. Payne is not full of crap. She listens and then chooses her strategy while consulting with you.

Shannon came as a referral from Attorney Kelly Chang's office. We had 40 min discussion over the phone that turned out to be a free consult outside of my expectations and the fact that we actually went into details of my case, it was also beyond my expectations.

By far the best family law lawyer! Shannon and her team (Ana and Jackie) were amazing helping me with my case. From the consultation until trial they were there with me every step of the way. If you're like me and don't know very much about legal situations, Shannon is the person you need in your life. In the three years I lived in LA, she got me through some really difficult times. A crazy ex who stole everything I owned and took me to court and a lunatic landlord trying to kick me out of a unit he was illegally renting. Its shocking how many laws people will break for personal gain. She handled everything perfectly and helped me through both of these horrible times and I came out ahead in both situations. I wouldn't be where I am now if it wasn't for her knowledge

Getting divorced is not particularly fun, but Shannon truly made it easy as it could be. She is an incredibly kind and compassionate professional. She was patient and communicative. Like many people going through a divorce, I was basically an insane person, and she always took the time to answer all my questions and put my mind at ease. My partner and I needed to create a Domestic Partner Agreement in case of dissolution. This can be an uncomfortable situation but Shannon guided us through the entire process which for the lay person, can appear daunting. She is professional, efficient, knowledgeable, very LGBT friendly, and compassionate. I have never recommended an attorney before and generally try to shy away from them but Shannon I do recommend wholeheartedly.
