Teresa founded Allied Rehab in 1987. Teresa is a graduate of the UNC-CH School of Physical Therapy and has over 30 years of experience in the profession. She specializes in treatment of neck and back pain as well as neuro-rehabilitation for stroke and head injury patients. Teresa finds it most rewarding to teach patients how to help themselves.
A long time member of the APTA and NCPTA, she has held leadership roles with the Practice and Finance committees; and has served as a Clinical Instructor for physical therapy students from UNC-CH, ECU, and Nash Community College. A Wake County native, she lives in Wake Forest with husband Matt; and together they have launched 3 children into adulthood.

Services
I established this practice in 1987 to give patients a highly competent, person-centered rehabilitation experience in speech, occupational and physical therapies for the entire family, from babies and children to adults and the elderly. My commitment and that of my staff is to help you or your loved ones feel better with sound clinical approaches in a state of the art facility with one-on-one attention, always with a licensed therapist!
Insurance is not a requirement to receive the quality of care we provide at Allied Rehab. If you are currently uninsured, or if we're out-of-network with your insurance company, you are still welcome here. We offer self-pay amounts to patients not using insurance. Save time by reading and/or completing these forms at home BEFORE your first visit!
My son has been coming here for over a year now and they have been awesome with him. When we started he could only say momma, they have worked hard with him and his vocabulary is growing. OT has worked with him also and I can see movements and skills he has learned thanks to their dedication working with him.

These people came to my son's daycare and performed a screening without my permission. I am absolutely livid! No third party is to come and do anything with my child without my permission. He has a pediatrician who will let me know if they have concerns with his vision, hearing, and YES, even speech. If you need speech therapy, I would suggest going to one that doesn't prey on daycares for business.

I am a retired occupational therapist and recently found my self needing to receive OT for a thumb injury. I have been 100% satisfied with my experience at Allied Rehab. My therapist, Cindy, is knowledgeable, skilled, and easy to be with. The office staff have been fantastic, and communication is excellent. Highly recommend!

My experience for my child's physical therapy was above and beyond. Our therapist was very helpful, understanding and supportive in regards to how to both help and encourage our child to walk. I would without a doubt highly recommend Allied Rehab to anyone and everyone who's looking for physical therapy. And the staff is ver nice and helpful with any questions you may have. Thanks to this facility my child started to walk at a faster pace than she originally started.

We LOVE Allied Rehab, especially Mrs. Zoe! My 4 year old has been receiving speech services for almost a year and I am so happy with his progress and results. Zoe has been so easy to work with and is amazing with my son. The office staff is also very nice and professional. Can't say enough good things. Highly recommend!

My son began speech therapy at Allied Health this summer through the Early Intervention program. We were very fortunate to have a great experience with our therapist, Carly, who was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and patient during virtual sessions with a 2 year old! My son's speech as improved tremendously and I know that is due in no small part to the time spent with Ms. Carly. I am thankful for her and Allied Health for being a part of my son's growth and development.

Warm, caring staff who always have your health and improvement in mobility a top priority. Kishma is a joy to meet when you enter the facility. My therapists Jennifer and Beth were very thorough in working with me both in the facility as well as giving literature and physical exercises to do at home in between physical therapy session. Jennifer was my primary therapist and was wonderfully patient, kind and helpful in increasing my mobility. I saw Beth when Jen was not available. In addition, I took a few sessions of “dry needling” with her. She explained thoroughly what to expect in this alternative
