Critical: Quality, Responsiveness, Value
I never felt that Jim McGough was working for us. He was arrogant, unresponsive, and insensitive. His unwillingness or inability to act on our behalf cost us a great deal....in our own personal safety and financially. I could never recommend him for even the smallest job.

My husband and I recently went through a very unfair adoption court case. I still had alot of questions about how the case turned out, and another lawyer recommended Welsh and McGough. I contacted Cathy Welsh by email over the weekend, and she responded immediately, and answered all of my questions. Since I am not a client (yet), I really appreciated her time to do that. I reached out to several lawyers, and very few got back to me. Thank you, Cathy. I can be at peace now.

Travis designated to the family law department was unprofessional and disrespectful! Prior to telling me I should find someone else and hanging up on my face, he verbalized every reason I shouldn't retain him as if he was in a race or on the clock. A simple "I am not interested in your case "would have sufficed. Does ethics in law still exist? My son matters to me!

I worked with this firm on a family matter. They were responsive and did a great job working through the issues with myself and the other party. Catherine was especially wonderful to work with and got my family through a tough situation. Thank you!! I highly recommend using Welsh & McGough!

Do not allow Catherine Welsh to be appointed as your Guardian ad Litem. If you have child abuse in your case appoint a Public Defender to counter Catherine Welsh’s recommendations. A lawsuit was filed against Catherine Welsh for an elder Guardian case for not listening to the ward. Catherine will misconstrue information and make false statements without evidence to support it. Welsh does not conduct appropriate investigations. Direct Quotes from other attorneys: “She is hard on women.” “Catherine and x attorney are a duo.” “Once she has chosen a side, she will never change her position

I used Catherine Welsh to hep me with a family matter. She was very responsive and easy to work with it. Her team helped explain all of my options and were timely in getting my case resolved. So thankful for Catherine and Jim as I navigated unfamiliar waters. I would highly recommend Welsh & McGough to anyone!

Catherine was rude. She thought it was cute or intimidating to use swear words toward us, her clients, when addressing us. Comes across very unprofessional and talks negatively about other attorneys and parties. Our case was in Tulsa County and she was terrible. My family not only lost but was used to mop the floor, so it felt. Jim, on the other hand, was very kind and friendly. Would only recommend her to my enemy.

Catherine, Matt, & Rachel were great to work with! Although I had a complicated guardianship case, they worked with me (with no judgement) and let me know what was going on throughout the whole process. I initially thought this issue would take a few months to complete but it only took a few weeks! I would recommend them for any family law matter!

I have used Jim McGough for a number of items. My mother when she was diagnosed with dementia had numerous properties Jim prepared my dad's will and drafted a power of attorney. Everything went very smoothly and in a timely manner. He also did a couple of cases for family members that dealt with criminal law and the outcomes were better than I could have imagined! Through stupidity and human error they were facing having their licenses revoked and other charges filed. He took care of everything!!!He has a great sense of humor, style and communicates on a level everyone can understand instead if
