The environment changes the moment I entered the dental office for a pre screening You can smell a clean and sterile surrounding. I was met with a smile by all the people inside the office and they started the procedures with speed and professionalism very shortly. I noticed that all the equipment they have are very modern and I was very much impressed with the CT scan machine that took a 3D image of my skull. Then shortly afterwards, Dr. Ali sat down with me for the consult and an appointment was set up for the implants. What a pleasant experience.

Mohamed Ali is an excellent dentist! I am so glad I found the right dentist for me. I got a crown, an on-lay and an unexpected root canal- all in one visit! It was a lot to go through but Dr Ali and his assistant Arlene are very competent, very chill and work together seamlessly. I felt really well cared for by a professional who has peaceful focused presence and confidence in his high level of skills. I will be returning for sure when I get Carecredit paid off.

Dr. Ali is truly a top notch and dedicated dentist. He works very hard. He constantly improves and updates his office with a latest cutting edge technology. His office is like one stop shop. Dr. Ali is quite possibly one of the best dentists I've been to in SF. I've had terrible experiences with other dentists that basically try to milk my insurance and woo me with a free toothbrush, but Dr. Ali tells it like it is and truly cares about his patients. He won't recommend things you don't need because he's a trustworthy doctor.
Even though he doesn't accept my insurance, I still pay out of pocket for procedures here because he is THAT good. Wish I knew about him when I first moved to SF.

Ok Dr Ali and his team are officially THE BEST!!! I mean from the time I started going there I always thought they were 5-star but I'm lazy so never wrote a review. Today I had another appointment.. Dr Ali started the treatment and while waiting for the anesthetic to kick in on me he went to deal with another patient. Through no fault of anyone's he ran into some issues and had to spend longer than he expected with that person. So I was waiting about 30-45 mins longer than expected. They checked in on me multiple times, asked if I was ok or if I wanted to change my appointment etc. I

Dr. Ali is by far one of THE BEST dentists in San Francisco/ BayArea. He is absolutely THE BEST dentist I've seen in my life! Trust me, I have bad teeth and I've been to many practices but I have never had such amazing experience like this.

1) Root canals don't last long. I had three or four with Dr Ali, one failed 2-3 years later --tooth actually split into two-- the other failed 4-5 years later. This is despite the fact that I take good care of them.
2) Salesy. I learned that 2-3 of these ops were unnecessary. I went to Dr Ali for an immediate need. He ended up selling me those other root canals, and wisdom teeth extraction ops + signed me up for a credit card!? I was new to the country and I had told him

I've been going to Dr. Ali for many years and he has taken great care of my teeth! He and his staff are very knowledgeable and professional. With all the state of the art equipment, crowns can be made while I wait requiring only one visit and X-rays are taken and available immediately. I'm very happy with the service I've received.

Dr. Ali and his staff are always very professional. They take care of my teeth. I like the fact that crowns are made in the office. Only entails 1 visit. The fit is always right on. All other work has been very good. I would recommend Dr. Ali. I have been a patient ever since he opened his practice at 450 Sutter.

Really enjoyed my visit to Dr. Ali's office! He was so personable and even took the time to go over the mundane paperwork personally to welcome me as a patient. He gave me a thorough examination, screening for mouth cancer which is supposed to always be done, but many do not. I had to most gentle teeth cleaning I have ever had and I was sure they werent going to be as sparkly as before. I was wrong! Nice and wide and no soreness. smile and my teeth were always chipping. His staff is awesome since they made it possible for me to see Dr. Ali right away. They are very quick to respond and send text reminders about my appointments.
Took x-rays of my teeth and he discussed options for the route we would take to get me closer to a nicer smile. He explained these options very thoroughly and made sure I was comfortable
with the treatment plan we were going to use.
He makes sure that his work is something that I would be happy with.

Did not enjoy my visit with this dentist. The hygenist was awesome, but he told me that I would need to have my 2 year old bridges replaced because they were not done right. I told my old dentist this who is retired and a friend and he said drop him.
