Bourgmont Vineyard

If you haven’t been to this winery & vineyard, you are missing out on the rich culture and history of the region. John Paul, tasting room manager and namesake of the pope, is so funny & knowledgeable! Yes, he’s Catholic & his sister is in-training to be a nun, but this place is so my more than that. With distant ties to JC Nichols, Rodrock and the arboretum…preserving green space in Johnson County is just as important to this grass roots family as it is to you and me. A former thoroughbred ranch, this soil is nothing if not fertile. I can’t wait to attend one of their classes with Alex

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding here and the reception space is so gorgeous I love the lights, the getting ready spaces, and especially the beautiful property. It's a photographers dream!

The Bourgmont offers wonderful views, service, AND wine! This place seriously has it all. Flawless execution of wedding day festivities as well as the PERFECT spot to unwind and enjoy the luxuries of life over a glass.

I've visited several local wineries, and this one is - hands-down - my favorite. It has it all: VERY good wine (I moved here from the east coast where I had hundreds of wineries, and I've visited wineries in California, so I'm picky about my wine). They seem to have something for everyone - excellent dry wines (the Zin... so nice!); nice sweet wines (though those are not my preference); lovely sparkling wine; and non-alcoholic beverages as well. They have snacks to purchase but aren't persnickety about bringing some of your own discrete eats. They even have wine slushies, which

The wine is fantastic, the staff always goes above and beyond to make you feel like family. Gorgeous facility and grounds with tons of room for growth in the future.

Fantastic wine, excellent service by the entire staff (shoutout to the manager Alex who was super attentive to us, gave us a tour, and was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and clearly very passionate about what he does.)

Beautiful setting for this winery. Very nice staff. We’re able to go on tour of facilities, house on property available for rent. Great outdoor seating and nice tasting rooms. Larger variety of wine than expected. Recommend it

Atmosphere outside great laid back casual. Easy to enjoy a glass of wine. Inside are tastings where they give you details about the wine and venue. Very welcoming and informative. Wines were also good. I generally prefer dry reds, but the reserve was great and some very good dry whites as well.

This is a beautiful place! They have good wines and we enjoyed them. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us! Alex and John Paul were especially helpful and answered our questions without hesitation! Check it out when you're in the area!!
