The Cabins At Healing Springs
Leave your worries behind and come to The Cabins at Healing Springs to relax, renew, and replenish. Tucked away at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, you will find a secluded glen of historic cabins surrounding a natural spring. The historic Healing Spring was discovered in 1884 and was originally called Thompson's Bromine and Arsenic Springs.

The property was then known as Healing Springs Resort in later years and is now simply called The Cabins at Healing Springs. Many of the cabins are the original cabins that were built back in the early 1900s. We are proud to be on the National Register of Historic Places. The natural spring known as "Healing Spring" is reported to have healing abilities and recorded to have cured everything from poison ivy to rheumatism, indigestion to ulcers.

I stayed at the cabin’s while I was on a work contract. I stayed for 18 months, Ms. Anne and her staff were really good to me and my pet. I really miss the area, and hope to be back one day.

We had an amazing time at the the Treehouse at The Cabins at Healing Springs. It was cold but the small heater was very efficient and kept us warm. The spring water was lovely and they had jugs available to take some home. Firepits were available making it a wonderful getaway.

Courteous and friendly. My dogs, girlfriend, and I stayed one night while waiting to close on our house nearby. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. Very quiet. The spring water was great! Their farm raised bacon was amazing, too! I definitely recommend a stay.

Owner has zero integrity and is quite argumentative and always has something to snap back at. Aka excuses rather than being a quality owner.
Only communication that was had was when she reached out to ask me for more money.
When we arrived nothing was as promised. We decided to not stay because it was dark and at this point I had reached out to the owner hours prior with no response. (She of course was quick to only respond when the conversation was about money) She never responded only until I canceled the reservation and left.
Stay anywhere else. Especially for a 5 by 5 treehouse with only

Highly recommend, it's the perfect home base for some adventures and relaxation! We loved our stay in Duck Cabin! This place is a hidden gem. The historic cabins are updated with modern conveniences, but keep their historic feel. A perfect quiet escape. Very responsive when booking and easy contactless checkin/checkout! Love that some of their cabins are pet friendly! Their soaps and lotions make a great take home gift and you can get all the basics in their country store. Make sure to catch the sunrise or sunset from Mt Jefferson!

We had an amazing time while staying at Cabins at Healing Springs. The cabin was very clean & stocked with the necessities for a quiet stay. The main office offers additional items like farm fresh eggs and bacon as well as soaps & fire pit utensils. We will not hesitate to stay there again and again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Cabins at Healing Springs. The room was very comfortable, relaxing and homey. The fireplace took the chill off in the evenings. Liked the convenience to purchase food items, soap, etc. At the Lodge. Added on the Continental Breakfast and it was good. Also liked having the menus of some of the local restaurants. Did go the the Red Dog bar and bistro. Nice drive to the restaurant. The food was good and staff were very nice. Had fun pumping the spring water to use for drinking. Will definitely be back for more stays at the Cabins.

If you like people the barn side cabin is for you. Everyone uses the middle part and you can hear all. The place surroundings was nice. Would not be one of the rooms of my first pick anymore.

This is the second year in a row staying at The Cabins. After a booking mishap, my fault, Ms. Anne bent over backwards to ensure we have a pleasant two week stay. We stayed at the Farmhouse and we were completely satisfied and very happy. The accomodations we're wonderful and very peaceful. From watching the cattle to watching the newborn chipmunks everyday was a new experience. My wife is a city girl and enjoyed this countryside experience. We would highly recommend an experience with The Healing Springs Cabins. Thanks again to all of the kind people that made our vacation time a wonderful experience

Very nice place to stay. Not sure about the healing spring itself - water analysis from 1979 shows some arsenic, which is fairly common for well water. Would like to see a more recent water analysis since drinking from the well is encouraged at the cabins. Most importantly, it's good accommodations in a pretty area. Also some dog-friendly cabins if that's what you need
