Diana has been a dental hygienist for over 28 years and enjoys every day with her patients and coworkers. Diana is originally from Wilmington, NC but has lived her in Wake County for the last 22 years with her two college age sons. Liz graduated Wake Tech Community College Dental Assisting program in 2000.
Dr. Naran has had his dental office in Southwest Raleigh since 1994. Although he's of Indian ancestry, he is originally from Zimbabwe and moved to the US in 1983. He attended University of Texas at Arlington and graduated with honors with a BS in Biology. He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 1991. To further his dental knowledge and education, he did a General Practice Residency at the dental clinic at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
If you lose a tooth or have teeth removed, the jaw bone under the area where the tooth root is missing will start to deteriorate. We often recommend dental implants to replace missing teeth and to prevent jaw bone loss. If you want straighter teeth and a more beautiful smile, metal braces may not be the only option for orthodontic treatment.

I'm really pleased. They answered my call and got me in within the week. Not only that, but everyone was extremely kind and the environment was very welcoming. The service was thorough but not overwhelming. Dr. Naran was friendly and informative. I enjoyed talking to every single person there. I will be recommending them to everyone.

I'm writing because Naran Family dentistry sent me a birthday email. I went to Dr. Naran and needed a root canal. His exact words were he, "thought he could save the tooth" with a new procedure. He didn't, and when I asked for a reduced price for the root canal on the same tooth - per his own front desk's advisement, he refused. I have not been back since. The pain is now excruciating and I'm seeing if I can pursue any legal recourse in this matter.

As someone who hates going to the dentist (srsly had been in three years prior to my first visit with dr. naran) my experience here was awesome! The receptionist introduced herself to me, was very polite, timely, very helpful. I waited for about 5min and was promptly seen at my appointment time. My dental hygienist was great. Very talkative, made me feel very comfortable, she explained everything to me as she was doing it which I really appreciated. Dr. Naran was very helpful when explaining and consulting my teeth. Overall, I would recommend Naran family dentistry to anyone!

I've been going to Dr. Naran for years (since 2013) with my husband. He is pretty reasonable and the hygienists are great and know their stuff. I leave there feeling clean and with a clear sense that my mouth is healthy. They often narrate while they work which is helpful because it's awkward to go to any dentist. Also, my blood pressure was in the "ideal" range in the chair so you can tell I'm not anxious about visiting. In the past, I always felt like dentists tried to rip me off or sell unnecessary procedures and products but not with him. Honestly, my husband needed

Dr. Naran is my dentist and for my family as well. Out of the dentists that I've gone for the past 40 years, he is the most professional and sensitive doctor. His staff is alway welcoming and attentive to our needs. I have had numerous visits to the clinic for different treatment and is always the best experience. Dr. Naran always explains what is going on and provides me and my family outstanding service. Dr. Naran and his staff are always alert and attentive to our needs and concerns. I love it.

Dr. Naran has been my dentist for a few years now and I can say that I do like coming here. It not a scary place. Everybody knows my name. He explains any problems that I have so I can understand. He also gives me options for ways to take care of my problems. He had to cut my gum because my back molars where coming in. When it was done I had no pain and the days after I had no problem but was giving pain killers just in case. I just love going there they feel like family to me.

Dr. Naran is an outstanding dentist. He is remarkably knowledgeable and on point with the many questions I present (he even quotes case studies on occasion!). I have always dreaded the dentist. I was having trouble and a friend recommended him. I have searched high and low for a dentist of his caliber. I immediately knew I was in excellent hands when I spoke with him the first time. Dr. Naran and his staff are great!!! They made me feel very comfortable since going to the dentist was not my favorite thing. Now it's not so bad, and I think that's because they make you feel relaxed about being there. I really like how they know me and welcome me by my name every time I go there. BEST DENTIST IN RALEIGH! Hate going to the dentist? Not if you're a patient here! The entire team at Naran's is fantastic. From the time you walk in, you are greeted by Michelle or Shanna up front before you transition to your hygienist. Dr. Naran takes the time to explain any concerns or procedures in great detail and has worked with my husband and I; both when we had insurance and when we didn't. Scheduling and confirming appointments are easy and the pricing is incredibly fair; whether you have insurance or are a cash patient. I'd highly recommend giving Naran Family Dentistry
