1. Lacie is a 3rd generation born and raised Alaskan and a 3rd generation dental professional. She and her husband love showing their 2 girls the beauty of this state and all it offers by hunting, hiking, camping and fishing. She believes in order to fully enjoy this state, you have to immerse yourself fully in all seasons.
Most of us have been hiding our smiles behind masks this past year. We've hidden our oral health (bad breath included) behind the mandatory masks, and subsequently many of us have felt disconnected or even isolated. We may have even forgotten what it feels like to see others smiling through conversations, or showing expressions and reactions with our whole face.

I FINALLY FOUND A DENTIST TO LOVE!!!!
I’m that person who DREADS dentists. When my partial dentures of four years went missing, I was forced to find a dentist here in the valley. It’s been a blessing to become a patient of Dr. Dawson and his wonderful crew! For the first time in my life, I don’t fear dental work, and I actually stay current on regular cleanings. Everyone here is so nice, gentle and truly makes it a painless visit.

Dr. Dawson and his staff are warm, friendly people in an easy to find location. If you are looking for a dentist who is kind, patient and friendly, try Dr. Dawson. He saw our whole family with block appointments and everyone enjoyed their visit to the dentist. We are so happy we found Dr. Dawson. This is our family dentist, make him yours too!

Those of us who have lived in the area are familiar with Dr McLean, and he will be missed. He would be proud to know that his legacy is in safe hands with Dr. Thayne Dawson, of the now Northwind Dental, who is a relatively new transplant to Alaska. He came here with his family and fits right in.
