I am a state registered clinical and medical Hypnotherapist in Washington State, and International Health and Wellness Educator and Life Coach. I am an ordained minister, Spiritual Coach, and have been initiated in the shamanic path of the Feathered Serpent Medicine Apprenticeship Path of Divine Humanity, and the Pachikuti Mesa Tradition Despacho Ceremonialist.
Hypnosis is a relaxed state of mind that enables the client to block out external stimulus and enter into a trancelike state. Hypnotherapy uses this trancelike state to enable the client to achieve a heightened awareness of themselves, to elicit change in their lives. When the client is under hypnosis, he will be in a state of relaxation that you experience when you are lying in bed, right before you fall asleep.
The first appointment begins with a consultation that enables the hypnotherapist to get to know you and your expectations from hypnotherapy. The hypnotherapy is performed by a licensed and well-trained therapist. The hypnotherapist will ask questions to understand the nature of the issues you are seeking to overcome.
Hypnosis is a natural state of focused inner awareness whereby you permit your conscious mind to "step aside", allowing direct communication with your subconscious mind. When you are ready for change, hypnosis is a powerful tool and perhaps the missing instrument that can be used to gain control of your life and well being.
Most smokers developed the habit in their younger years. Despite the health risks, smell and cost, most people are unable to quit smoking without assistance.
