Would have gave one star but the customer service was good. The room however was NOT. Don't know how you can have clean room when there is still dog hair and dirt on the sheets. Dog hair all over the entryway. Both curtains were broke and was a struggle to get remotely closed. And the " ocean view" was maybe 40% of our view. The other part was an RV park and other junk. If you need a place just for the night maybe so somewhere else. I'm sure during the summer it might be worth the price.

If I could leave a negative star review I would this is terrible. My sister-in-law is staying there for one night her husband booked it based off the 3.8 average review in the pictures he saw. But he wishes he looked further because this is a terrible place. My sister literally found a pregnancy test in the corner of the room. How could you possibly count that as clean. Also she had no waterfront view of any kind she had a view of a trailer park. She went to the front desk to ask about this, the gal at the desk gave her gloves to pick it up herself!!!!!!!

Nice room with comfortable beds. A few complaints: the shower head is kinda low, I'm 5' 8" and it's at my hairline, the coffee package is trash and I almost vomited smelling it, our trash can had something stuck to it, the toilet uses a lot of water and the tp is hella thin. A good value though, and I enjoyed the ocean view.

We left brookings after checking into a hotel that was super dirty (got refunded)
We decided to just drive to crescent city for a better stay. This is one of our favorite places to stay in crescent city. I’ve been to quite a few hotels in the area and this one is always our go to if it has availability. It is sometimes a bit sandy but I totally expect that in a pet friendly room. The only thing they need to do more often is pull out the beds and clean the floor underneath (there was some pet hair under our beds, but it wasn’t terrible)
Thank you for keeping your rooms clean!

We stayed in room #201 and enjoyed the beautiful and refreshing ocean view and breezes! The room was clean and supplied what we needed. We walked across the street to this beautiful vast beach and we walked to the Chart Room for our delicious dinner so I would say the location is great. Plus the motel is dog friendly so that was a plus for us.
For the cons, the price was expensive but we stayed in peak season. I would not want to look out over the RV park on the other side of the building. The check in was not as friendly as I would have hoped for.
I would stay at this property again.
