Pros: Their cake tastes really great. Cleanliness is well maintained. They offer good service in person. For some orders you need to put an order 24Hr in advance(pretty standard).
Cos: Bad phone service. First they don't pickup the call and when they do they put you on hold for like 20 mins. But it also depends on your luck on how busy they are.

Lady cashier helping my friend and I had poor customer service.
She was very impatient, saying there's a lot of people she needs to help. My friend and I were the only 2 in the store. ?? She asked for my order, made me pay then put the wrong items in the box. I had to correct her and also double check before she taped the box. She also stopped helping me to answer the phone, mid way, and sounded annoyed with the customer she's speaking with.
Cakes and cookies are good but will never come back.
We spent almost $300 on desserts this morning but she didn't seem to appreciate.

The last week I ordered my sister's favorite burnt almond cake, which is actually very good. 8 inch round we paid $49. I'm giving one extra star for the burnt almond cake.
Today I made my usual order that I get every year for my birthday. A simple chocolate cake with white buttercream and some coconut on top. Eight inch round. They wanted $90. $90!!!!!!
They called it a special order cake. That's BS. They make chocolate cake with buttercream every day. It's the most basic cake around. They tried to tell me because everything's gone up. Typically I paid $60 for that cake every year. 65 if I asked

My favorite bakery in the sf bay area! Everything tastes so amazing and looks so pretty! Never been disappointed.
I'd recommend to definitely try the burnt almond. Also tried the double cheese cake for the first time yesterday (recommended by the person working there) and while I'm not a fan of cheese cakes, it was delicious and I'll definitely get it again.

Terrible dark chocolate truffle cake! It was dry, hard, and the taste of the chocolate was also not great. We had kept the cake in the fridge and then out for 2 hours but still it was hard as rock. I liked their strawberry short cake but this was disappointing. For $80, this was totally not worth it.

Yoooo. So you ever try something and you already know it’s a new favorite and will probably ruin anything else you try down the road? Well, that is what happened with the burnt almond cake. It’s the perfect size to be either shared or enjoyed as multiple servings over the course of a few days. The cost is more than reasonable and the flavors that you get from each layer are divine. Plus the texture! Oh my goodness!
The lemon poppy and blueberry slice was nice too...but it’s the burnt almond cake where it’s at!
Will most likely end up trying the cookies because those are the first things

Sugar Butter Flour offered an amazing service throughout the whole wedding cake selection process. They definitely had the flavors we were looking for, but more, they had the professional input! After my husband and I had visited other bakeries, we knew right away we were partnering up with the right company! Both, my husband and I enjoyed the flavor selection process and man, the surprise of seeing your cake for the first time was simply breathtaking.
