I received an estimate within 15 minutes, scheduled an appointment, dropped my car off at the designated date and time and the repairs were made just as I was told. Service was excellent! I was told by another source that parts wouldn’t be available for 2 months! Highly recommend!

New to BMW ownership and decided to try SMI instead of dealership because it was closer. I was amazed at the professional manner in which they scheduled my appointment and let me know how long it would take to get me in.
Once they got the car they quickly identified the issue and provided a quote that was accurate and no surprises when I picked up the car. They also cleaned my car and had it ready when I got there.
I believe that I have found a repair shop for my BMW.

I’ve been taking our Honda’s to SMI for several years now and have nothing but good things to say about the quality of service and honest work. They are friendly, professional, and consistently let you know what needs to done now, and problem spots that need to be done later. On this visit SMI fixed and tested the brakes. Also, they noticed the drip pan needed to be cleaned and took care of that to eliminate any drips onto other parts. As always, St Matthews Imports is the place I trust for my car repairs. I have a 2007 Honda Accord. They always do the work that’s needed and stand behind the repairs. I came in to have my starter replaced and when they called they gave me a laundry list of repairs they said I "needed" including changing my wipers (which I had just replaced). They quoted me $1400 dollars. Of course, I said I just need the starter replaced. The pricing was pretty high, in my opinion, with the starter costing $260. They said they don't use AutoZone parts and only use quality parts, so hopefully it lasts! Everyone was nice and they got the job done quickly but I could have done without the attempt to coerce me into spending over a thousand dollars.

Went by this place a few weeks ago. Just moved into the area and wanted my oil changed, so I gave them a call. They were super nice on the phone but when I arrived in person, they were incredibly rude! Really bad customer service, and they treat you like an idiot at the key drop off! Was so turned off by the attitude that I took my keys and left to go to another automative service nearby.

I initially took my Jeep to the dealership to have them replace a lightbulb and was told that there was an issue with the electrical system that would need to be fixed and it could be expensive. I wanted a second opinion and took it to SMI who told me all it needed was a bulb. They replaced it and it's working well. I appreciate their honesty and will take our cars there from now on!

We have had many experiences with body repair at this shop and every time been thrilled with the work, the people; they keep you informed, keep appointments and do it right. Recently we had a weird one; a mouse infestation in our sons old car. NO ONE in town would help till I called them. After they finished laughing, they said "sure bring the old car on over". They pulled out 2 nests of mice, checked wires and cables, cleaned it up and called us. They saved the old car and couldn't have been nicer. Take your cars there, old or new, foreign or not!

Today , my wife and I took her car to the Westport Road location for an estimate for some damage on the right rear fender. No real damage, mostly scuff marks. We had just left another body place, they wanted $2100.00 for this small damage. I really thought that this was a little high for this damage. The People at Collision Center, Westport Road, looked at the damage and said that it was Not that bad and they took care of the damage , Right there on the spot. NO problems, NO appt., And NO CHARGE! This was our 1st time there. They did not know us at all. Just wanted to let people know about this

Update: I was contacted by one of the owners who ensured that the repairs were made correctly and efficiently without additional cost. I appreciated the follow-up and am satisfied now that the problem has been resolved.

Stopped in cause all of my back brake lights were out and needed brake light switch replaced. Jiffy recommended SMI. Was nervous about going somewhere different from where I usually go but didn't want to drive without brake lights and I had an appointment I needed to be at soon! But everyone was very nice and quick, and price was to be expected given labor costs.

This is the second time I've used St Matthews imports. They are so efficient and friendly. Today while I waited on a quote I got to listen to the admin staff working together, answering phones and making calls. They seem like such satisfied employees. Then I got to talk with the fellow giving me my quote. He was friendly, direct and super efficient. He even offered me the "friends and family discount" on some items. THEY ARE AWESOME.

I have had to use St. Matthews Imports Collision Repair twice in one year! The first was my backing into a concrete base of a light post and smashing in my rear bumper resulting in a new rear lift gate and bumper. The second accident I was rear ended and had rear bumper damage again so, again, SMI replaced my bumper. In both incidents, my car was returned in beautiful condition, The body shop work is meticulous and professional and I will only use St. Matthews Imports for any body work on my car in the future. After taking my cars to dealerships for years I decided to try St. Matt's Auto imports because of it's location and recomendations from friends. I've gone there several times with outstanding service everytime. I recently made the mistake of going to a VW dealship and had a horrible experience so I will stick with the best from now on and continue bringing our cars to St. Matthew's Imports!

On 12/23/2014, I called at 2:57 PM to inquire about a repair for my vehicle, which was struck by a motorist who was insured by Progressive, who had agreed to pay for the repair in full regardless of the cost. I'd done business with SMI previously, so they were by body shop of choice. When I called SMI, I was told by the SMI representative that even though the motorist's insurer had already agreed to pay for everything, SMI must do its own estimate before scheduling a repair. I tried to schedule the estimate but was told that I simply needed to walk in prior to the close of business

Not very car knowledgeable so I'll just write what happened.
Took my BMW in for a brake check and oil change. Got a call a couple hours later from Kenny Hart saying that the rotors and brake pads needed replaced. Front for brake pad, 2 brake rotors and brake sensor and labor was 488 dollars. Back was 448 for the same. Also there was a brake fluid flush which cost 82 dollars 70 of which was labor. Seems high, possibly standard.
In addition he said the front radius arms were worn and suggested replacing them. This was 570 dollars for both front ones and labor.
