DONT MOVE HERE. One major bad thing ruins the experience living here. I have asked all my neighbors how their air works & most the answer, "it sucks & when we call all they do is put a filter" same thing happened to us twice already. We loved this place before they changed the thermometer to Nest. Now they changed the air system & my dog and boyfriend have had heat rashes. Basically its supposed to save energy so if there's no movement in the household, the air will turn off or raise. So when youre sleeping, not moving around, you wake up in a pool of sweat because the air just randomly shuts off

The most disgusting apartments I have ever lived in! I stayed for one year and the entire time we had a roach infestation! I told the office and all they did was “spray” but obviously that didn’t do anything as I was killing about 5-10 roaches EVERY DAY for a year. They said it could be coming from the neighboring units. Also, I could smell the mildew and mold. The office knew about this and assured me there was no mold, however they did confirm that our building had significant water damage from a hurricane the years before. I LOVE Alvista, this is my first time living in FL, away from all my family and not only do you feel at home but like family. Jen and Elizabeth from the property management office are so unbelievably hospitable and kind, upon move in you receive a nice gift bag with the necessities!
The pricing of the units ESPECIALLY for your location, the renovation, and views of a peaceful lake - second to none! I open up my lanai every morning to hear the fountain - simply tranquil and serene.
Parking is plentiful, even coming home at 1am from work, I find parking right in front of my building.

I have been living in Alvista for 4 years now and we recently decided to renew our lease moving from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom apartment. Jennifer and Elizabeth were super attentive in offering us a unit that was perfect for our needs Specially with a little one coming on the way. I love how maintenance are very attentive to detail and will come immediately when you place a work order.
