Even if you don't know all the details, you can still get on the schedule. I often must turn away orders that wait until 3 days prior but don't hesitate to call because there are some weeks that I can fit a simple cake in with 24 hr notice. However, I very seldom use nuts in my baking and I do cater for a local preschool that is nut-free and can accommodate the request.

I worked with Gina for a Baby Shower cake...she designed the cake to coordinate with the design and color palette of the invitations....amazing!
The cake was moist, the frosting delicious and the filling fresh! We selected "wedding white" cake with fresh berries and whipped cream filling with a cream cheese frosting...tasty, light and PERFECT!

I can't emphasize enough how happy I am that I found this place. Gina was super accommodating, worked with our budget and turned out a beautiful cake. This review is long overdue! Gina made our wedding cake for us last July and it was not only beautiful but also very delicious!! She was so easy to work with and made the process of deciding the cake style and flavors super simple. She also delivered and set up the cake for us! We will definitely be getting more cakes from her in the future and I recommend My Grampa's Store to everyone looking for a cake for their event!!

I'm glad I finally found a good bakery! This will be my new place to order all my future cakes. We asked Gina for a special I love you to the moon and back theme cake and the kind lady followed all instructions. I'm just so impressed with her work. I usually don't give feed back but I just had to this time cause I just can't get over of how good of a work Gina did! I will recommend this bakery to anyone with a special party event!

If you're Hispanic like me, don't bother. Gina didn't ask for a deposit for my son's cake, that should've been a red flag, however, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. She called to give me a bs story and cancelled on me last minute. I had a couple days to find a bakery for a custom cake, luckily I was able to find one. She gave me a sample cupcake and it was mediocre!! Don't waste time/money here.

The Grandpa for which this store is named was Hank Morello, owner and operator of Hank's Candy Store duering my childhood days. Ogden grade school is located right across the street and a Catholic grade school is kiddy-corner to the store as well. Hundreds of kids used to mob this store daily when I went through grades 1-6 at Ogden. In fact, as a younf paper route guy I used to stop in every single morning and tank up on glazed donuts and other sugary delights.

Got my sons birthday cake here. The cake was super moist got a two tier one tier was chocolate and the other was cookies and cream. It was all fondant and very reasonably priced. There was absolutely no cake left over which was the plan. The owner is also very responsive and will work with you via phone if needed.

I was very nervous about ordering a cake over the phone as I was planning a 70th birthday party in Chicago but I was based out of NY. Gina was very responsive and listened to my vision and cake ideas of what I wanted. I sent her my inspiration photos and she did an amazing job in making it happen. Not only was the cake beautiful, but delicious as well! I definitely recommend her!

I stumbled upon My Grandpa's Store through yelp when searching for a bakery for my daughters first birthday cake. I couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism and patience in the planning process. Her pricing is very fair. The owner fully talked me through my options through email since my schedule was pretty hectic. The cakes turned out exactly as ordered and were a huge hit with our party. The cakes themselves were delicious too! We will absolutely be ordering all future cakes from My Grandpa's Store. Highly recommended.

I ordered my daughters birthday cake here and for what I needed I though it was going to be expensive since other places were changing me an arm and leg.... boy was I wrong! Gina was a great help she designed the cake just how I asked her to and for a great price! I ordered a 2 tier cake with vanilla for the top cake and cookies and cream for the second and it was so delicious! Everyone at the party was asking where the cake was from because it looked and tasted amazing! I would highly recommend this place!

I love my Grandpa's store! They don't have everything though but they mainly have things I desire. Sometimes it can be too packed and they can be cranky. But, being cranky sometimes doesn't mean you're not nice! My Grandpa's store is a great candy store and I recommend it to all candy lovers and their friends!

Gina is not only a great baker, she is an artist!!! I emailed her an invitation for my daughter's baby shower and she created a masterpiece with the animals that were on the invitation. We had no heart to cut the cake:) Also, individually wrapped cookies for party favors were not only beautiful, with lots of detail but also very tasty. It was such a great experience and Grampa's store get my highest recommendations! Thank you Gina:)

We were looking for a wedding cake bakery and we found this store on yelp. We went in for a cake tasting and Gina (the owner) was very helpful. Her prices were reasonable, and she listened to the ideas I had for our wedding cake. I sent her pictures of what I wanted and she was patient in working with me (I had a few changes in design and size). On the day of the wedding, she delivered it and set it up. The cake came out even better than I had imagined.
