NO Stars!!! Dr is great diagnositician , however his staff is Keystone cops.
They are very polite on phone, NEVER follow-thru, except with erroneous information! They try to cover-up their bumbling errors with mistruths. I expect waaaay better from a really fine physician's practice! I won't be darkening their door ever again

Superior in every way ‼️ With friendly, helpful and caring staff, expert doctors and their assistants, you'll find that Word Dermatology is in a class all by itself.
I've seen way more than my share of doctors over the years so I know a good one when I see one.
If you're looking for a good dermatologist I highly recommend Dr Word. Like I said superior in every way!

I had a wonderful experience at Dr. Word's office. I needed to get in quickly, and was very scared to see a dermatologist for the first time. Dr. Word and his front office staff were very friendly and comforting. He was able to help clear up my skin condition, and make me feel more comfortable and confident in my own skin. I highly recommend Word Dermatology for anyone in the future.

My husband was a patient and he will not be back. The staff is incredibly rude in particular Jan. They do not care about their patients. They do not return phone calls. You have to repeatedly call them to get someone on the phone. They refused to refill my husbands medication due to clearance he should have had prior to him even starting the medication....hmmmm so now here we are six months later and they will not refill until he gets clearance from PCP. We are in the middle of a pandemic and the physician he referred us to is not accepting new patients.

I only had to wait about 20 minutes after my appointment time before going back when at other doctor's appointments and he came in immediately after I got out in a room, I usually wait 30 minutes in the lobby and at least another 30-40 in the room before the doctor comes in anywhere else, so major kudos there on a job well done with scheduling and time management. I also got the diagnosis needed very quickly after one non-painful check was done and was negative for what me and my PCP thought was the problem. He's very educated and kind. He takes the time to explain what he's doing before it's done

Dr. Word is by far the best doctor I have seen in Waxahachie. I went in for a problem that had been plaguing me for over a year. Other doctors gave me a diagnosis and all sorts of medications with no results. Upon my first visit with Dr. Word, he assessed the situation, told me what he believed to be the diagnosis and performed 2 biopsies. He prescribed medication and things had already begun to heal. At my appointment one week later he confirmed his original findings. Though it may not be curable it can be kept under control. Needless to say, I will continue going to Dr. Word for any dermatological

Dr Word is awesome. He is a highly trained physician. He has diagnosed me with a problem that needed attention from another specialist. He ordered the tests himself instead of sending me to another Dr and delaying a diagnosis. His office is beautiful and staff is nice. He will be my dermatologist from now on.

I went to Dr. Word for the first time and highly recommend him. When you walk into his office, his staff are very friendly and attentive. The waiting room even had fresh baked cookies! The atmosphere was very new and all the equipment was modern and high tech. Dr. Word was very professional and gave me a thorough explanation for exactly what I came for. Overall, definitely recommend!
