By stimulating our innate ability to heal, acupuncture can relieve symptoms of disease and promote health on many levels. Acupuncture means a faster return to activity for athletes, accelerating the healing process. Chinese Medicine and acupuncture may help "turn back the reproductive clock" and correct dysfunction.

Herbs and botanicals have been used to treat health problems throughout Asia for thousands of years. Functional Medicine Nutrition is an individualized program of whole body healing, focused on nutrient-dense foods. Since graduating in 2002, CARRIE ANDRESS has treated thousands of patients and logged thousands of hours in educational seminars.

At Andress Acupuncture, OUR MISSION IS TO GUIDE you toward HEALTH & WELLNESS WITH PERSOnALIZED, EXPERT CARE. With a well-rounded approach TO HEALTH, we bring lasting change for chronic and acute issues. We diagnose the cause of illness, treat the illness at it's most basic level, and recommend LIFESTYLE CHANGES to BENEFIT your BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT.
In our sessions, we use a mix of Acupuncture, Cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na Medical Massage, E-Stim, Bodywork and other modalities to get to the root of illness and encourage healing. Based on thousands of year old practices, acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles at specific points on the body to achieve optimal health.
As a former athlete - bodybuilder, long distance runner, SKIER and climber - Carrie Andress is especially equipped to treat sports injuries, and often eliminatES the need for surgery or medical intervention. Unlike surgery or medications, acupuncture produces very little side effects. This is why we love treating athletes - from professional climbers to body builders to runners to dancers and everyone in between.
If your body is not showing a "normal" cycle curve, acupuncture and the right herbal formula can correct this. Use a Basal Body Temperature (BBT) chart. Begin recording your temperature with a digital thermometer every morning upon awakening (before rising). A typical graph will show a slight drop in temperature just prior to ovulation followed by a rise between 0.3 and 1.0 degree Fahrenheit, a result of rising progesterone after ovulation.
Functional Medicine Nutrition is an individualized, science-based approach to care that allows patients and practitioners to work together to address the underlying causes of disease and promote optimal wellness. It requires a detailed understanding of each patient's genetic, biochemical, and lifestyle factors, and uses that data to create a personalized treatment plan.

Carrie is amazing! She was able to pinpoint exactly what issues I was having before I even told her. Her sessions are the best investment in your health you can make. Highly recommended!

I had received acupuncture while in the beginning of my 3rd term of pregnancy. The whole experience was very relaxing and enjoyable. Afterwards I was able to sleep better and had less trouble breathing (the position of the baby was not helping this situation prior to my visit). My energy felt better and I felt more comfortable in my own skin. I would highly recommend treatment to anyone!

Carrie is an extraordinary practitioner. I suffered a severe orthopedic Injury and was referred to Carrie by a close friend who spoke very highly of her and I couldn’t agree more. After my initial session with Carrie I felt pain relief for the first time. Carrie uses several modalities to healing and her needles and techniques are relatively painless. She is warm and receptive, listens to your concerns and continuously alters her approach as time goes on to meet your needs. I HIGHLY recommend Carrie!!!!

Carrie is such a gifted TCM practitioner! Her needling technique is among the most subtle and pain free I have experienced and is driven by her deep understanding of the ancient form in combination with her strong, sensitive intuition. Her marvelous hands-on techniques are a wonderful, unexpected bonus! I find Carrie's sessions very comfortable, effective, informative and relaxing. I plan and look forward to meeting with her everytime I am in her area whether for digestive issues, menopause struggles, musculoskeletal discomfort or simply to improve my general wellbeing. I am grateful to have Carrie

After being diagnosed at 32 with Breast Cancer and undergoing a mastectomy, I decided to see Carrie. My energy was low and I felt I needed a full body reset. In less than three months of receiving regular treatments from Carrie, my energy returned, my pain was gone, I was sleeping through the night, and I felt like myself again. Carrie is extremely knowledgeable and gets to the root of the problem. She adjusted my vitamins and supplements for what my body really needed. I am so thankful I found her and finally feel like I am on the road to true healing.

I have seen Carrie on and off for years. She has helped me with back problems, shoulder pain and most recently hip and knee issues. Every time I leave her studio feeling great. Aside from acupuncture I have received electro stimulation, massage and cupping. Carrie is well versed in all of these modalities, she's not just an acupuncturist.I love the feeling of her studio, its bright, relaxing and clean. I would highly recommend her.

As a mom to two young kids, I’m very active and tend to need assistance with slowing my pace and finding ways to stay grounded. During my treatments with Carrie she’s used color puncture, which has helped me tremendously with migraine management and relaxation. I am also able to sleep much better after acupuncture sessions with her, which helps provide me with the stamina I need for work and every day life.

I’ve spent the past two years seeing doctors and other acupuncture practices for a spots injury (rock climbing) and was beginning to think I couldn’t be “fixed”. However, as a last ditch effort I googled “sports acupuncture Kingston NY” and found Carrie. I took a chance on reviews and booked my appointment. I WISH I FOUND HER SOONER. She is simply the best. Carrie was the first to really listen to me and understand what was happening with my body. I have experienced more physical and mental relief with her than with any other doctor or acupuncture practice in the area. Trust the reviews
