We wouldn't drive anywhere else with our autos! We brought my car in with all of the engine lights on this morning. I had a trip planned and didn't want to risk it. Without even calling ahead, I rushed over to Transmasters Auto Care. The crew was extremely helpful and promptly resolved the issue. I gave them the highest possible rating that they would accept!

This is my go to place for any automotive needs. They are honest, hard working, and do a good job. They are very communicative when they have your vehicle, I got my truck towed to them and they called me when they received it and kept me updated through our two days that they had it. They did a great job of answering my questions and making me feel comfortable about the work they were doing. They always asked before performing any services and told me exactly how much it was going to cost. It would be impossible for me to recommend a mechanic other than Sam for any and all of your automotive needs. He showed my wife and I how knowledgeable and professional he is in his trade and he treated us with grace and respect.

After getting a $10k quote from the dealer in Carlsbad for my transmission repair and a host of other repairs that were unnecessary, I took my 4Runner to Sam who diagnosed the issue promptly and gave me more than one option to repair or replace my aging transmission. I had an issue with my car, and they kindly took a look at it for me, it just so happened to be a week where I was going to be out of town which made me nervous. I ran into an issue and was not able to have the car picked up because I was not in town. They were extremely kind and understanding. I highly highly recommend this shop. I went to Sam off a recommendation from a friend after getting quoted a $3,500 from Toyota for repairs on my Prius. Sam was able to fix it for under $300. He was really nice and responsive. I also towed my car from Toyota and he texted me when it arrived and I didn't have to worry at all! Seriously worth taking your car to here. Thank you Sam!

SAM IS AWESOME. The whole team did an outstanding job! I broke down while traveling and I worked with Sam via telephone, he went out of his way to help me get my vehicle towed, gave me an extremely fair price, in fact, it was half of what the Honda dealership quoted me. I flew back to San Diego to pick up my vehicle, and the car was ready and waiting. Sam had a staff member check all my fluids knowing I had a long drive. If that is not enough Sam called me to see if I got home safe and if I had any concerns with my vehicle...wow 👏, that is customer service you rarely receive anymore. Thank you

Mm local shop doesn't do transmission repairs and referred me to Transmasters. That referral alone meant a lot.

Due to an amazing first experience I decided to go here again. This time I went for Oil Change Service.
What I like most is the way they show/explain the issue the car is having and potential solution.
They have done very job on oil change service. My car(Camry 2013 LE) runs very smoothly after the service. This is the first time I've this smooth drive after an oil change service.

I had not driven my 2008 Prius for an year and thought of getting it serviced. I gave it to Satya and the car was ready in a day. They did a good job in identifying all the various issues some of which were probably there from before but I never noticed and gave a fair estimate for fixing the car. The car now feels like new and drives super smooth. Thanks transmasters !

Sam is nothing but friendly and helpful. After taking my car to over 4 shops he was the only one willing to go out of the way to help me fix my car properly. Had a po700 code... took it to Sam and they knocked it out quick...also had trouble prior resetting the monitors on this car and Sam took care of that for me as well..picked it up and went directly to the tag place for the smog and the stickers...will definitely use Sam again..as far as covid concerns, he had a big plastic shield up...I mean you can't really ask for more..if that's not enough for you, you should just stay home

No safety!! The guy had No mask on!!! Had an appointment at 1030am. Didn't show up on their computer. Then he says he'll take it made fill paperwork out but then tells me I'll have to wait till 12pm to call to see what's wrong. I just wanted my brakes fixed an a quick look at the disc its placed on. The dude looked like he didn't even want to be there. Really felt in welcomed at the end.

I was experiencing some hard shifting all of a sudden so I took my 1994 Ford bronco to get it serviced at another shop. I was told my transmission was shot. I needed a brand new transmission. My truck is old enough that it doesn't have the port for Computer diagnostics. I wasn't so quick to accept that. I noticed Trans Masters had good reviews on yelp so I drove it there. I went in to Transmasters to get a second opinion and dealt with Sam. He offered free inspection/diagnosis of the vehicle. Since I couldn't stay for the inspection to complete, Sam took pictures & made videos of the parts that were causing the issue and sent them to my phone - I was pleasantly surprised by the transparency

My car got a new life, thanks to Transmasters!! I drive a 11 year old car and I recently had the check engine light and "AT" light come on at the same time. The transmission would not shift after 3rd gear. I took my car to another service station nearby (supposed to be very good with transmissions). Sam is very attentive to his business and I'm glad I went to him. While I was waiting, he was constantly on the phone helping a multitude of customers from what sounded like an an extremely diverse set of situations.
They can do most things related to auto repair, and you can call to confirm. Very fair price and has excellent knowledge around his profession. There are just so many little things that can go wrong with a car it's hard to keep up, but I felt no hesitation in knowledge with him regarding all the questions I had asked.
