Please make sure you take a tour of the entire facility and verify if you would like to have a loved one stay here. The staff seems nice, but the facility is in desperate need of some TLC. I cried after taking a tour, parts of the grounds are beautiful, but the facility itself seem depressing and dark.

I have lived in Ventura for quite a few years and about five years ago, I wanted to move my parents from Carpinteria closer to me and my family. My parents lived alone in their home, but I was always worried about their well-being. I chose to place my parents at The Lexington after looking at many other assisted living facilities in Ventura. Both my parents really enjoyed their living arrangement, other residents and staff. Unfortunately, my dad passed away three years ago, but my mom continues to live at the Lexington. Before COVID-19, she enjoyed visiting with the new friends she made at the

I moved into The Lexington after selling my home in Ojai.
I have to say it was one of the greatest things I could have done for my self.
I chose The Lexington for many reasons, located close to my grandchildren, the freeway and many shops within walking distance.
When I took the first tour I could hardly wait for my home to sell so I could move in. Ronald Agulto was awesome right from the beginning, the tour was interesting, met lots of the staff and saw a selection of rooms. Many of the employees have been working there for a number of years and all are kind and helpful, just nice folks. I

My Mother has been in the Lexington since 2019. We are very pleased with the staff and the facility. One thing we noticed when touring was active happy residents. This is a key thing we wanted in a home for Mom. The staff has kept us well informed during the Covid Emergency and have taken many precautions to keep her and the other residents safe.

When Mom and Dad needed help, we needed a place near us that could join us as a team. We researched facilities in the greater Ventura area and found that the Lexington had the best combination of roominess, quality of staff and outstanding management. Though there are other good facilities near us, we chose the Lexington primarily due to the people providing care. When Dad's health took a turn for the worse last year, the Lexington staff stepped in and provided every bit of care we needed. They connected us with the right people at the right time. Even after Dad passed, their support and caring

Do not go here !!!!!!!! I was driving by and. Noticed an elderly women on the ground bleeding stopped to ask where she came from she didnt remember . Called the nearest assisted living home and this was the first one I asked if she lived there the lady on the phone asked where I found her and I told them and she replied with ok I'll let someone know non concerned at all! The women had a black eye bloody elbows and other cuts all over her. I called the police . Bottom line is they do not watch their residents so if you care where your loved one goes do not take them here.!!!!

I have been working with The Lexington for for years now, and I love it!. This is my second home. The partners that I work with are very compassionate, caring, and loving towards our residents, and with each other. We have staff that has been working with The Lexington for more than 20+ years. That's dedication! Family atmosphere is what you'll get when you step inside The Lexington!
