Spent a great night in St Marys at this historic hotel! Very nice place with comfortable beds and a short breakfast! Nice town to walk around and a good restaurant attached! Will stay there again when passing through or maybe take the ferry to Cumberland Island!

Quaint historical hotel right by the river. Restaurant & bar on the lower floor are great, too. Just take into account that the night scene at the bar does last quite awhile, so you might not have much luck getting any sleep before midnight. Nonetheless, worth a stay.

I loved the ambiance and the whole hotel experience. They had a band at the outside fires going on the patio. It was a fun place.

We camped on our last trip to Cumberland Island, but opted to stay in this hotel for our most recent visit. The workers were friendly and the rooms were clean. The rooms included local photography of the island and renovated bathrooms. They even offer a packed lunch for the day on Cumberland! I will be staying there again.

Heading Back to Maryland. We decided to stay one more night. River view Hotel was a great beautiful view and room. Our trip was for us to get in tune with out inner self. The room we got was reminded us of our childhood. we loved it! We role played and acted as if we were teenagers again. The bedroom will have you in mind of a 60/70s lil girl room. The host at the front desk was very knowledgeable about everything around. The complimentary water lemon was great. The view of the water in the morning was amazing. We felt so at peace and relaxed during our stay! Wonderful area for a nice morning walk

Truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Beautiful building and interior right across from literally everything to do in St Marys it's so convenient. The only drawback is make sure you get a room that is not next to the saloon. It is basically a bar and it is very lively until 1 or 2 a.m. First night I didn't know that and I was pretty mad, I went downstairs all crazy tired at 1am and the woman managing the hotel handled me perfectly she knew exactly what to say. I was all ready to check out the next day even though I'd booked 2 nights. This place is truly amazing though and I really did not want to leave
