What can I say about the Lighthouse? I will simply start by saying THEY SAVED MY LIFE AND I MEAN THAT!!!

The Lighthouse and its staff saved my life. I went in hopeless and broken and came out hopeful and armed to start a new life of sobriety. The team at the Lighthouse was nothing less than amazing.
From the moment Jose picked me up from my home on July 7th, 2021 and until Greg (?) dropped me back off at home on August 9th, I was treated with nothing but respect, kindness and love.
The tools that were provided to me helped me to feel strong and ready to take on this journey. The ladies that shared this journey with me will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope to meet some of them again

I had a great experience at this treatment center, and actually learned more about addiction than I ever thought I could have. The support staff Vanissa and Brandi are exceptionally great and go above and beyond to help! Almost all of the staff come from a genuine place of care and love for the residents. The only exception is one therapist who has a disdain for the residents and a condescension toward his coworkers. That therapist should look for another line of work where he can be more productive. Would be 5 stars if it weren't for that therapist.

My name is Jake and I completed a 30 day program here in February of 2020. Today I still have maintained my sobriety and I give the lighthouse a lot of credit. It was very tough at first and you can defiantly tell the difference the people who actually care and those who don’t seem too. What can I say about the lighthouse my experience there was phenomenal from counselors to support staff to drivers to facilitators to every single person I encountered were so compassionate and so supportive so understanding. They took time to make sure I was OK and make sure I had everything I needed. My sessions with my therapist Julie help me so much with discovering a lot about myself and unpacking things from my childhood that I had forgotten or had put away and talks with my counselor Melissa help me develop tools that I use today to help keep sober. I enjoyed most of the staff at the lighthouse on the women's side. Support staff Rocky, Terri, Teresa, Marissa, Debbie, Heidi and Shelley go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Client care coordinator Stephanie is in a category all on her own with how she bends over backwards to make sure every need of yours is taken care of. The cooks Valerie, Elizabeth, Sonya and Mercedes are ridiculously courteous and prepare good meals. The therapist Julie is extremely understanding and gives you her complete attention.

I completed the lighthouse on February 16th, 2021. I had an amazing experience and received the help and support I needed. All of the staff from the kitchen, staff support, therapist, counselors, and client care were all very kind and caring. My 21 year old son was there two weeks and got drugs at there somehow. He got high (he is an addict) and they threw him out at 11:00 pm at night with his phone, $3 and his backpack. He is not from Anaheim and was far from home. Today, two days later, he turned up on their steps still high and someone called me and said they didn't know what to do with him. This is a treatment facility. You must have a detox facility, or know of one. You have a relapsed addict. How do you not know what to do??? How do you not supervise addicts and how do you let them get drugs??? Something is now right here

For anyone who is looking for help for themselves or A loved one, the Lighthouse is the right choice. Jason was the first person I spoke to and he is awesome! He answered all of my questions about the program and it’s goals, in a way I could see how it would work for my loved one. He addressed all of my concerns with compassion. Anyone who’s been in this situation can tell you how emotional and stressful it is, and he helped to coordinate some unexpected obstacles. The Lighthouse is amazing with the best staff! Every time I went to see my son, he looked happy and with lots of hope. Everyone there was very nice and professional. My son always raved about the food (definitely a plus). People have to remember that it is ultimately the addict's responsibility and willingness to get better.

Anaheim Lighthouse was the biggest blessing to me. The staff, food, activities, programming/panels & offsite meetings make this spot a one-stop-shop.
I went in not wanting to be there. At all. Nervous because I had never been in treatment, and trippin on everything. The staff, therapist, and counselor made it happen for me. It was the best decision of my life.
Love my boys in the kitchen (They are the real deal), my therapist, my counselor, and the support staff.
I had a little band of brothers in there and it was just an overall solid/productive and life changing time.

This is an update post to one that I wrote a few months ago, just to let anyone reading this who is looking for help with their addiction or a family member's addiction know that there is hope, and the Lighthouse can help you. My daughter Laura went to the Lighthouse several months ago, and it was life changing for her and for the rest of our family. My time at Lighthouse was extremely enlightening, beneficial and came at a point in my life where I was so vulnerable a bad place could have been fatal.
The staff for the most part is patient, caring, and willing to put up with some incredibly difficult and trying people who are genuinely sick in their disease.
The food is nutritious and plentiful, the activities are creative and the structure is just right for people who truly need it.
This is NOT a frilly, cushy rehab if you are looking for that, but there is real fellowship and structure for those who need it.

This program truly works if your ready to make a change in every aspect of your life. All the counselors and staff are amazing. So many caring people I spent 39 days at lighthouse and have 4 months clean and sober now. I would not go anywhere else but here because the support you get is just unbelievable.

Frustrated & Disappointed.
As a parent it would be nice if the counselors would return your call. I left 3 messages for Karen who was my daughters counselor. She was being discharged but I had some questions going forward. (yes, I was on her HIPAA list) I guess once the client leaves they can care less?
A call back & professionalism would of been appreciated!

No this is not a fake review I am a real person who came to the Lighthouse back in 2011 and I am still clean and sober. When I got to the Lighthouse I was broken but the staff pushed me to stay and continue working on my recovery. It has been the best decision I ever made in my life. I've gained so much here mentally, physically and spiritually. Not only am I sober for multiple years but I have a strong group of friends and a strong community through the alumni program.
