I loved and truly miss when this place was Champions. I have an Antons around the corner in Reading Center and I actually went to Champions because I find Antons prices to be high. As soon as they swapped hands, the quality remained excellent but the prices soared. I used to be able to bring a comforter in to be cleaned for roughly $30 now it's almost $40. I prefer to support small local businesses so I'll have to look around for a new cleaners.

Had a very nice suit dry cleaned only to find that a hook from the pants/zipper closure had been ripped out of the fabric, ruining the pants. I've been told they will replace the closure but I don't see how it's possible without a patch. I'll update after I go back, and attach pictures. But for now, never going back for their service.

This was my first time visiting the tailoring side since posting my last review, and safe to say things haven't gotten better. I brought a dress here to have taken in when my usual place was booked up. This was an unlined dress with non-stretch fabric and simple construction. I tried on the dress and communicated what I would like to have done (shorten the shoulder, take in the bust, shorten the sleeves and hem, slim the sleeves). Except for shortening the sleeves and hem, she told me it nothing could be done. Huh??? And she quoted me $40 for the hem! And it wouldn't even match the original

First time, last time. I took a comforter in to be cleaned and noted to the employee at the desk that it needed extra attention along the top edge. Got it back a week later - so badly wrinkled that I spent at least 45 minutes ironing just the top plus the batting was so messed up that I probably spent another 45 minutes trying to move it around and even it out. All before I could even put it back on the bed. On top of that, the top edge did not get special attention and looks about the same as when I took it in
And it did not smell clean. Grr...a wasted $36

I few months ago I dropped some clothes off and totally forgot about them. They reached out and reminded me i dropped them off. I promptly picked them Up the next day.
I was honestly surprised how well they cleaned up. They were heavily soiled from oil sprinkler water during a hotel fire alarm.
I took them out of the bags to my surprised and was blown away how perfect my $1500 in clothing looked.

This place is phenomenal. I've lived all over the country and used a gazillion different dry cleaners and Champion, by far, is the best. They are always accommodating and I have never picked up a garment and been disappointed. The attention to detail is like no other. Yes, it's possible to have an exquisite experience at a dry cleaners. Champion is the place.

This has been my dry cleaner for fifteen years. I live 4 towns away but make the trip here because the staff is always professional and nice. I have card on file so I never need to take a card out to pay. Just grab my clothes and go. Somehow that is a huge convenience to me. Late night pick up in the lockers is awesome too! Knowing things will be done that day if dropped off before 9 is incredible. And if after you pick up the next day! It's the best dry cleaner I've ever been too. I wear suits for work everyday so I need it. Now my whole family uses Champions!!! Keep up the great work

The woman in the alteration shop told me that my shirt wasn't nice enough to be tailored, and repeatedly questioned why I wanted to get it done. Probably one of the rudest customer experiences I have ever had, anywhere. The cleaners next door did a good job, but won't be using the alteration service anytime soon.

I think they have magicians that work in the back! How else could I spill red wine on my dress on a Sunday, bring it to the cleaners on Monday morning (with my tail between my legs) and pick it up Monday afternoon? And what wine!? Magicians. That is the only explanation. And the regular humans that work there couldn't be any nicer. No judgment on my behavior! There is no reason to go anywhere else. Ever.

Exactly one month ago, I dropped off $300 worth of silk tops for dry cleaning in our office's pickup area that weren't returned. I called Champion Cleaners and they confirmed that they picked up the bag, dry cleaned the tops, charged me for it, and then hung them back in my office's shared closet two days later.

This review is for Champion Tailors... I would give this place ZERO stars if I could! I recently brought a dress here for alterations for a friend's wedding, someone had recommended it to me saying it was reasonably priced and had a quick turnaround. Neither of those things were true. I dropped my dress off weeks before the wedding and the woman was annoyed that I asked her to pick it up the Monday before the wedding, she wanted me to pick it up Friday which was the day we were leaving- we ended up settling on Wednesday which gave her more than two weeks to alter the dress. Maybe I just had a few bad experiences but I'm never going to champion cleaners again. I personally don't like that I don't receive a slip when I drop off my clothes. There are times I'm so busy with work that it could be another week until I am able to pick up my items and by that time I have completely forgotten what I dropped off.

My husband wears a lot of dress shirts for work and we have tried a lot of dry-cleaners. Champion Cleaners has been the best by far in convenience & quality. The covered, drive up window and after hours drop box is great for those off hours or rainy days when you just don't feel like getting out of the car. Also it's a pretty quick detour from I93. The staff is always friendly and professional. However, I have to say it's the little touches that keep me coming back. They replace broken shirt buttons, no charge, part of the service. I want to be specific that this review is for the tailors only. The dry cleansing business side is great and I love the service I get. It's consistent, friendly and quick. Never a problem. Now...onto the tailor.
Dropped off a jersey to have a patch sewn on. Very simple and quick task. I had affixed it to the shirt exactly where I wanted it. The woman working was helping someone else and was trying to help me instead of finishing with the first customer. Said it would be done later in the day and didn't write anything down which I thought was fine considering I had the patch taped on

I've been going to Champion Cleaners for years and I agree with all the good reviews. Lots of conveniences; covered drive-through, after-hours lockers, same day cleaning, open 7 days a week, and a tailor on site.
Cleaning - absolutely the best. Clothes come out perfect every time. Shirts are pressed perfectly. I have mostly expensive "designer" clothes and these guys keep my clothes looking brand new. Seriously, I could not be happier with the quality of their cleaning. And their prices are in line with all the better cleaners.

Great location, offer same day service as long as you drop off early enough. My clothes are always well cleaned/ pressed- they will let you know if a stain didn't come out and even offer to "wet clean" it if you like. Staff is very friendly and professional. My husband has left his cufflinks on his shirts many times and they have always returned them on the next visit.
Word of warning though- they are pricey! I really wish they offered a loyalty program- would make me feel a little bit better about all the money I am spending there.

Why isn't every cleaner drive through? A brilliant concept. Drop off your stuff early in the a.m. and it is usually ready at the end of the day. The service is capable and the owner is generally on site. You don't need a slip just tell them your name.
I want to mention they also have a shoe repair service--they send out so it takes several days but it's very convenient especially since cobbler shops are becoming more and more rare.
