Laura's Alteration

They did an AMAZING job with my wedding dress!!!
She took it very last minute, the day I called and it was done in less than 5 days. She fixed it and it was absolutely perfect!

Amazing customer service. Was able to help me in very limited time frame. Absolutely love my dress!:)

Called ahead to get a time to meet due to Covid conditions. I had her hem two pair of pants. She was awesome, made sure to do them exactly as I wanted, and finished within an hour.

I have been bringing mine and my family's professional and casual clothing, drapery, and even bed and towel linens to Laura's Alterations since 2014 (and I have brought ALOT over the years). Their work is excellent. The ladies who do the alteration work are very skilled, personable, give great customer service, and are consummate professionals. Their pricing is fair, and if anything is not to your likeing for any reason, they make it right. I would definitely recommend Laura's Alterations for all your alteration needs.

I take all my repairs and alterations here and it's always been perfect!
We had one problem with a seam and they fixed it no problem..

I just called to ask a quick question about altering some pants and the woman who answered was INCREDIBLY rude. I’m stunned right now, honestly. Not only was she giving me a crazy attitude like I personally did something horrible to her, but she hung up on me before I was even done speaking. I recently lost a bunch of weight and was planning on taking all of my favorite pieces of clothing in (which is a lot) but after that phone call alone I’ll be looking for another place to go. It’s just weird how angry she was at me over absolutely nothing.

I brought a top in for Lara to alter. Summer top, it was a bit snug at the breasts. I just said to Lara go ahead and use white light weight material (since it was under my arms she needed to add a bit of material.)
My top I took to Lara was black and white.
Well anyway I went to pick it up, I couldn’t believe she found the same print and material of the top which I love!!!
She had me from there 😁

This was one of the worst sewing nightmares… First of all the woman was never there you had to call out...when she would arrive she was rude and one of those folks that I’m sure you all know who thinks she’s smart and in reality you can’t sew much less run a business... you know the type. So when I went to pick my sewing up I told her coworker that I was dissatisfied with the work she said she would have her redo it… Third time: and I told her I was still unhappy with the work she said she would take out the stitching and give me my money back but I would have to come back as she was

When I'm not on crunch time and preparing for my wedding, I will leave a full detailed review. The only advice I can give now is stay away, consider your options and read reviews. If you have a good experience here, you're one of the lucky few.

This place is a joke . I brought in my prom dress and they said it would be done in 2 weeks . I went in on the exact date they told me to pick it up and they said they had no idea that they even said it would be ready and that they hadn't even started . I needed the dress to buy the rest of my accessories and shoes. And then I said I shouldn't have to pay the full $60 if they can't even do their job in the time frame that they said and they still made me pay it . Somehow it is my fault? There is an old woman with white hair and glasses who works there and she is horrible to customers
