Perhaps the best apartments I lived in so far. For that amount of money in SFBA
Comfort and Convenience - 5 Star
4 min walking to TJ, SafeWay and Walmart. 10 to WholeFoods. Plenty of parking space inside apartment complex and everywhere around.
Cleanliness - 5 Star
Everyday cleaning. The pool and jacuzzi were always ready and clean. Not crowded.
Governance - 5 Stars
Gated community. Every single gate and door lock is working and closed. Absolute absence of outsiders. Every light and every bulb is working. Always!
Support and Communication - 5 Stars
Staff is well trained and disciplined

A very pleasant physically appealing apartment complex. It should be said that the management and specifically Brian is working with an impossible set of circumstances, an old building that is noisy and constantly under renovation, and a community of Type-A folks living under Covid-19 isolation and paranoia, bless them. Can't please all of the people, all of the time. Let's cut them some slack. That said, I'm sure experiences here vary a great deal based on your location in the complex, your neighbor's neuroticism, and how much time they spend in their apartments, and their

This is the best place to live. Bryan and Michael are incredibly responsive and great to work with. The building has been renovated and the apartments are super nice. It is also within walking distance to safeway, whole foods, and trader joes. The maintenance team works incredibly hard and keeps everything in tip top shape! On top of all that, people who live here and generally respectful of others and it is quiet. We love it here!

We love it here! We have lived here for a little over a year and have had nothing but great experiences. Bryan and Michael are both great and very responsive. The outdoor fitness center is very nice. People living in this community are generally very respectful of other people and it is quiet. The maintenance team is also incredible at their job. They are always keeping the grounds and the apartments in perfect shape.

Have moved in for two weeks. Really love my new apartment! Quiet on the top floor, good sunlight, and a tree view. It has a nice and super convenient neighborhood. Walking distance to almost everything you need. The managers, Bryan and Michael, and the maintenance, Jose, are all so helpful and responsive.

Had a fabulous experience with Bryan, the property manager of Palo Alto Plaza. He showed us the place several times and answered all of our questions including during the application process. The place is very clean and has beautifully renovated apartments with a gorgeous landscape and great amenities.

This apartment community has a very nice garden, well maintained with flowers and nice big trees. There is an outside fitness area and with weights and stationary bikes, and a swimming pool. New apartment communities do not have such a nice and large garden. To maintain the garden, they are now using a new battery powered leaf blower which makes almost no noice. It is a big difference compared to gas powered leaf blowers and it is an advantage for working from home.

I recently moved from the east coast and upon having the tour with Michael, I instantly decided to go with Palo Alto Plaza. The management has been super friendly and helpful. There were almost no move in issues (except for a small maintenance request which was taken care of the next day by Martin, amazing guy!) Definitely much higher value/$ than most places in the area

This is a comfortable place to live in. We lived and raised our family here for 10 years. The kids have learned to swim in the pool, and we had a lot of parties at the BBQ place (back when we could have parties). The garden is gorgeous and very well maintained, and the staff replies to requests promptly. Highly recommended.

We lived in Palo Alto Plaza for a year before moving out of state, and totally loved the place! They are great at using the space, with no dead space in rooms. So we felt the rooms were more spacious than the square feet shows. They are good at using colors and furniture in common areas and design the areas comfortably. We especially loved the hub and the gym. And more than anything, the management and the maintenance teams are exceptionally great. They were friendly and responsible from day one and throughout our living there, which made us feel at home always. They are quick in responding to

DO NOT LIVE AT PALO ALTO PLAZA. You will suffer demolition for months, you will not be warned in advance, and you will not be compensated for their lease violation. Palo Alto Plaza DOES NOT CARE about you. Read on for specific infractions.

INHABITABLE DEMOLITION
Due to COVID-19, Santa Clara County mandated that many technology workers perform their jobs full-time from home. In parallel, California experienced the worst fire/smoke season in history, producing outdoor Air Quality at Severely Unhealthy Levels. Because of these legal and safety reasons, I was required to shelter inside my apartment

Beautiful place, awful -- absolutely awful -- management. They didn't inform other people who live in the apartment complex about a break in that happened to us. We wanted them to put flyers on everyone's doors so that they would be informed and would remember to lock their doors. They said they would do it and NEVER did (even though we asked many times). And more recently they closed the communal gym --understandably due to COVID-19 -- and I asked to borrow a pair of dumbbells to exercise at home for 2 weeks while the ones that I purchased came in the mail. I said that I would wipe them

DO NOT MOVE HERE. I warn you THIS IS A BAD APARTMENT

This is the worst apartment I have lived in. Luxury price for a cheaply made apartment. Do not be fooled by the garden. Yes, it's well maintained but you won't be seeing it at all.

As other reviewers say, the wall is super thin. You can hear literally EVERYTHING. Flushing toilets, TV, conversations on the phone, and yes even nighly activities of your neighbors. Also, the floors were probably originally made for carpet and not hardwood. You will have to bear with the stomping noises of the apartment all day. This drives me crazy

Horrible management. Residents with kids are picked on. Kids can't play in court yard. On site management stalks certain residents and lets others get away with everything. Way overpriced. They increase the maximum every year. They turn the water off multiple times a month. Water looks dirty brown, had to buy a shower head to filter. Lived there for 2 years and they way over charged on move out.

Pick a different place!

This is my 1st place I've settled down in since my moved to the Bay Area. Before finding this I saw over 14 different places. Here you are always welcomed with a smile and generosity. The apartments are older but the rent control, beautiful garden that is in full color year round, pool and other amenities truly make up for that. Plus it's cheaper than other apartments I saw when I was looking around.
The staff are always friendly, constant renovating and improving the place.
They organize events for all tenants allowing us to get more acquainted and bond with each other. This is ideally

After living here for 9 months, it's time to make a longer review. First of all. It's just a nice place to stay. The location is perfect with tranquility and yet close to shopping and restaurants. The two guys in the office are always friendly, helpful and you are greeted with a smile. If there is something wrong there is always an answer right away. In terms of rental contract, there is nothing to put a finger on. Everything is transparent and you feel safe.
The place itself is quiet and peaceful. An amazingly beautiful garden and pool and there is always neat and clean everywhere. There

So far I have lived in Palo Alto Plaza for one month now and I am quite happy about staying here.

Location is best, a bit off the main avenues so you wont hear any noisy from the traffic but close enough to main grocery stores. Just 10-15 mins of walking distance to Safeway, Trader Joe's, Walmart, Target and whole food. Restaurant, Cinema, pharmacy are nearby.

The apartment is nice and clean with garden /pool view. The two managers are responsive and helpful to answer all kind of questions.
They are also opened to listen, talk about how to improve their services.

They also constantly

We have lived in this complex for 4 years and I am loving it so far.

Location-wise, it's the best. It's close enough to center, yet off-center enough to be secluded. We are literally one block away from the corner of San Antonio and El Camino, but bec the property is facing away from these major roads, we hear none of the street ruckus. We are less than 10 mins drive from the downtown areas of Mountain View, Los Altos and Palo Alto-- not that we need to go "downtown" for basics as we are walking distance from major grocery stores (Safeway, Whole Food, Trader Joe's

I'm living here for a month and a half, and feel lucky about this decision so far. I'll update this review if I get something new.

Pros:
1. Pretty community environment! The apartment has completed the construction and looks really nice inside.
2. Close to San Antonio Shopping Center, which means you can go to Safeway/Sprouts/24HourFitness/Starbucks/Citibank/Chef Chu/Noodle Talk and so on in walking distance.
3. Safe neighborhood. They have security staff patrol every night inside, and no suspicious guy I've seen so far nearby.
4. Nice staffs (Bryan & Indira). They are helpful
