Ma-Lee's Upholstery has been a Bellevue-owned and operated custom upholstery business proudly serving their community for over 20 years. Ma-Lee Rogers and her two sons, Adrian and Jon, have been running the business on their own since 2015 and have decided to join the Queen Anne Upholstery wholesale team.
In some ways, the upholstery trade can be seen as the "threads" that have run through the Rogers family for many years. As a student from China living in California, Ma-Lee met her late husband Scott in Laguna Hills. She was working at an upholstery shop and he would pick her up after her shift, oftentimes watching her finish her projects and eventually learning the trade himself.

Services
WONDERFUL to work with! Two minutes on the phone with Ma Lee lets you know you are dealing with a true professional in her field. A 25-year-veteran of the reupholstery business there isn't anything you can ask that she can't answer. She also let me provide my own fabric, which some businesses will not allow you to do.

I found Ma Lee's while looking to reupholster a very unique but loved bed that my cats had done a number on. Her qoute was fair and beat local competitors. She helped me find a fabric within buget but also what I wanted (hard to do because I have expensive taste but not unlimited funds). She included pick up and delivery. Her delivery men were professional, flexible on timing, and did an excellent job ensuring the reinstall fit all the pieces back together properly including the lighting (even though they had nothing to do with the lights). She had my project done two weeks early exactly on budget

The entrance can be tricky to find. From Northup, there's an uphill passage from the strip mall parking lot to a second parking lot behind the main structure. The store is at the far end of the lot, through a little unpaved path.
I had a set of six dinner chair cushions reupholstered with a faux leather material. Ma-Lee is very friendly and helpful, having worked in the community for a long time. She helped us find a matching material from one of many books of samples and gave us the leftover material after finishing the job.
Note that she did not take credit cards at the time, just cash or checks

I have a relatively new couch that my dog had climnbed up on and tore the cushion. It was not a fabric I was in love with so I went to Ma Lee's to have it re-upholstered. This required the nail heads to be removed, so I was expecting it to be pricey and time consuming. Despite the fact they obviously had several other projects, the work came in under my budget and faster than expected. I was extremely happy with the results, it looks great!
