Palace volunteers help make theatergoing a memorable experience for our patrons AND help make downtown Danbury a vibrant destination.

Volunteer opportunities include ushering, administrative support, publicity, marketing, hospitality, clean sweep and more. As a thank you we provide volunteers with ticket vouchers to see future Palace shows along with other perks and benefits. Every performance is different, every crowd is different, but the wonder of being in this historic building and spreading the joy of live music and theatre is the essence of what we do.

Excellent venue. When we arrived we found the parking area by following the signage from Main St. The general area of the theatre should have been filled with hustle and bustle but. you know, Covid. The inside of the theatre is very nice, ornate and well cared for. Carol, the manager. greeted us and it was so great to be at a theatre again. There was a large exhibit of NYC prints and a small concession stand. I think the concession size is because of some pandemic regulation. Anyways, bring money, cash, if you are going to buy popcorn and such. The seats are comfortable and wide enough for me.

Saw show there with my mother on Sat Sept 11. The staff was great, the seats were great. The had a cash bar in the lobby so you could enjoy a drink during the show. Very comfortable seating. Not a bad seat in the house. Would definitely go again. Brings back many memories of seeing movies there as a kid. Beautiful old theater.

The staff were incredible and made us feel like we were family and cared about us personally. The show was great and it was a great memory made with my family. Even got to take a picture with Ted Vigil-the John Denver look a like! Great experience!

Gorgeous theatre! The architecture is simply breath-taking. They just don't build them like this anymore. The place is a work of art, in and of itself!

Great venue for live entertainment. It's an intimate affair with the performers. Carol books fabulous acts that you very rarely get to see so upclose and personal.

This is a beautiful theater. The staff is very professional. I've been here for both plays and concerts and have been pleased with both. The seats could be a little more roomy.
