The White Plains Performance Arts Center is a premier and spectacular performing arts theater in White Plains, New York.
It has featured numerous classic and modern theatrical shows, Broadway musicals, concerts and other performing attractions.
In December of 2021, I brought and treated my wife and myself to see “A Christmas Carol” at the White Plains Performance Arts Center.
“A Christmas Carol” is superb Christmas theme musical and my wife and I enjoyed the show from start to finish. The cast performed brilliantly in every aspect.Their acting, singing and dancing was flawlessly executed

Broadway quality shows. No lie. A great mid-size venue for live theater and entertainment, and musical performances. We started going there around 2006, back when it was just getting off the ground. Since then--and especially over the past 5 or so years-- the shows are consistently exceptional.
Mainstage shows hire equity performers that regularly perform on Broadway. Stunning stage sets are elaborate. Sound quality is also excellent. It's a first class experience all the way.
Their major theater productions will exceed any expectations about regional theater. They also book a lot of well

To sum up, it's comfortable, clean, and nicely staffed. I've seen a few musicals and plays in the last nine years. Some of them were in off Broadway theaters. Some were for big shows. The last play was in the Shubert theater in Manhattan.
The Shubert theater, although visually nice, was brutally cramped in every way. Not so in this theater. The seats are large and comfortable with so much leg room that someone could enter and leave the row without disturbing people in their seats.
Another plus that crushes theaters in Manhattan, is parking in the lot for a tiny fraction of what it would cost

Yes please!! My twelve year old son and I just saw Newsies, a bona fide Broadway show... in White Plains. I've been to many shows on Broadway and this was just the same if not better and more intimate! The cast was *phenomenal*. The set and the music were fantastic as well. I may go see it again. It was that good. Seize the day everyone!

Wow!!! What a little gem, White Plains, NY!?
When I arrived I was a little confused by the location- I didn't expect this to be in the White Plains Shopping Center.
We arrived and we were seated quickly, in the third row. And as we waited for "Beauty and The Beast" to s, I admit I was a little bit skeptical.
Once the show started - it was obvious I was watching a group of energetic, passionate and EXTREMELY TALENTED artists. It was a memorable evening for my daughter and I.
This was an awesome little gem- I sort of enjoyed the anticipation when I got there and the skepticism

Wow, I have seen several productions at he the theater and Beauty and the Beast was by far and away the best! WPPA is a great place to see a show, the staff is always friendly and helpful and every seat in the small intimate theater is fabulous! Kudos to the staff and talented actors and actresses. I cant wait to see the next production!

Just came back from beauty and the beast. The theater was surprisingly modern and clean. The seats are much more comfortable than the theaters in the Manhattan. The show was great! A must see! With the theater being smaller you get to be closer to the actors and can see the details in their costumes. Will definitely be back.

New to WPPAC after I had heard so much about it from friends over the last year or so and have LOVED my experience! Recently I saw a concert and comedy show after seeing a few of their Mainstage musicals (their professional broadway productions) and all were fantastic! The seats are very comfortable and have lots of room in a stadium seating set up so no heads in front of your view! Their concession stand has plenty of choices for snacks, and drinks (including beer and wine!) at very reasonable prices. Overall, the value of their productions for the ticket price is WELL worth it and very affordable

Is this the best White Plains has to offer for performances? White Plains Performing Arts Center is located on the 3rd floor at the City Center and adjacent to the City Center 15: Cinema de Lux.
WPPAC is a small venue and seems like it draws a decent production lineup to suit almost every taste. Lobby area holds a large amount of people. Small concession stand with candy, beer or Wine is available. WPPAC is home to a good-sized main stage and a very good sound system. Liked the theater style design with roomy chairs. Sat in row 10 and had exceptional sight-lines without craning our necks to see

Great community theater to see some Broadway-Class productions.
Nice size theater, nice comfy seats that recline a little and with lots of leg room.
Great ticket prices too for the production value that you receive.
Saw Disney's "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" production there and was pleasantly surprised. Great acting, great voices, and impressive set

Extremely happy with WPPAC. My kid has signed up in the past for similar type of acting camps and workshops but This is the first place that my kid enjoyed 100%. No mean kids, these kids are respectful and love theater for theater. When I contact Ariana ahout questions, she quickly responds, she must live there, she is so busy. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and all have a good backgrounds in theater.
The theater, itself, has very comfortable seating. We saw Les Miserables, that show is long, but the show was amazing, we cried from being touched during a few scenes. Those actors can SING

Always a top notch show with superb actors! All the shows I've seen here have been terrific and very well staged. They hire great seasoned actors and always have great scenery and a large live orchestra when needed. I know they will do a great job with "Les Miserables" as they have done with "Cats", "Tommy", "Hair", "The Rocky Horror Show" and many, many others. Check them out if you get the chance. Tickets are never expensive, and every seat is good. Thank you WPPAC for bringing live theatre to White Plains!
