Dr. Yang Ruan earned Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2005. Prior to studying at BU, Dr. Ruan graduated from Capital University of Medical Sciences and practiced in TongRen Hospital in Beijing, China as a dentist for three years. Dr. Ruan has been actively practicing general and cosmetic dentistry for more than ten years in southern New Jersey.

We are proud to provide a state-of-the-art facility for the highest quality dental care available. Our office meets and surpasses all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and CDC (Center for Disease Control) standards. Digital x-rays allow the doctor to get a much better view of your teeth and potential dental conditions.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 48 business hours notice. We ask for this advance notice so that we can offer this appointment to another patient who needs an appointment. The fees for our practice are based on state of the art care, advanced dental procedures and our dedication to personalized treatment. If you have dental insurance, we will work with you to assure that you receive the maximum benefits according to the terms of your plan. I have been in Dr. Ruan's office for more than seven years. I had a poor teeth which my previous dentist always complaining about my not taking good care of my teeth. But Dr. Ruan never complained about me. Also, she provided excellent service on me so that I am free of trouble on using my teeth during my daily life. Dr. Ruan's office is very clean and I am very comfortable to be there during my service.

Dr. Ruan is an amazing dentist, with an outstanding personality ! Which makes everything better and soothing especially when visiting the dentist ( which no one likes) . One great quality she has that is very hard to find is she is very honest . Also, it is important to be efficient and good at what you do , and to educate patients on what needs to be done or what is going to be done . She does it all ! Thank you

My whole family (my wife, two children and I) are Dr. Ruan's patients. The X-ray machine here is brand new and digital - much less harmful than the old analog machine (watch out). Dr Ruan and her staff are very friendly and professional and office is very clean. I had both regular and deep cleaning here, both were very comfortable and thorough. In my previous dentist, they made my teeth so painful and bloody that I was in tears and shivering with just a regular cleaning... I highly recommend Dr Ruan, the best dentist I ever experienced.

I've been coming to this dentist since it was located on Kings Highway. They're clean and professional. They're always welcoming when you walk in, and the environment is cheerful but comfortable. Everyone I've come across has been fluent in English.
The waiting room has a unisex bathroom, a television and magazines with probably 10(?) chairs. With a reservation, my wait is never more than 5 minutes. There's 4 patient rooms with standard electronic chairs and ...vacuum and drill type equipment(?). The first patient room has floral pattern designs... I guess to make it more

My two daughters and I went to Ocean Dentistry for our annual check ups yesterday. Dr. Ruan did a very nice job with professional, effective way, she answered every my questions and give us useful comments. Her crew was friendly too. The office is located at a convenient area, nice and clean atmosphere. Strongly recommend!

I switched to Dr. Ruan about one and half years ago because of family relocation. I arrived 15 minutes early for my first appointment and was a bit nervous. The front desk staff was extremely efficient and professional. I was seen exactly on time! That doesn't usually happen at any doctor visit! From X-rays to check-up, Dr. Ruan and her stuff did excellent job which put me at ease. The equipment at their new location is new and environment is clean. Professional and courteous! I will definitely continue my dental care with them.

Friendly assistants and expert dentist. I made a few consecutive visits due to lack of care for my teeth =( but each visit was pleasant and painless (or almost)! Don't let the tiny exterior fool you, this place is actually pretty legit as it utilizes many of the latest dental technology. The wait may depend on the days, but there are entertainments (magazines, TV, etc) and the friendly staff will never make you feel uncomfortable for waiting.
Prior to this I had a dentist from Chinatown...and while the service was decent too, he missed to see a cavity that even I knew I had...and it grew
