Great pizza in the Treasure Valley! A friend of mine turned me towards this establishment with a few very eccentric pizzas his family has been ordering for some time from Flying Pie. Delicious and awesome! Since then I have ordered half a dozen times and all great and consistent.
On my last order I was waiting at the bar area, amazing beer selection BTW, and ordered all ingredients to build our own pizzas from home in a few days in addition to their classic pizzas cooked on the spot. That’s right you can get all the ingredients to go with multiple fresh and unique toppings, fresh dough, sauces

My only beef is that they didn't have a salad bar, also limited selection of wine for dine in. Otherwise cute little place to stop into.

Flying pie is a Boise landmark. It serves excellent pizza and has a very unique and good beer selection. The staff is always fun and the atmosphere is great very lively. I have found it seems you either love em or you don't. I have some family members who don't like the flavor of their dough but the piled high topings make em a hit. Ill always keep coming back and if you have never been I strongly recommend going and don't forget to check out the awsome artwork threwought the whole place and the giant aluminum foil ball. If you love your visit don't forget to let the staff know by honking the horn

Ordered delivery and recieved a pizza that looked like this, crust was raw and not cooked in the center, portions of the pizza were just toppings and cheese with no crust underneath at all. Inedible, it's outrageous this was allowed out of the kitchen.

The OG location. I still think it's the best spot. I've been going to Flying Pie since I was in high school back in the 80s and it's still delicious. Love the new options. The staff is always exceptionally friendly. The salad bar is fantastic. But the price is now pretty high and the size is not what it used to be. A large is more of what I consider a medium and I know the ingredients are quality and it's always going to be great but the price/size is why I unfortunately only go a few times a year. But I love you, Flying Pie!!!

Excellent pizza made with real ingredients. Two 14" pizzas and breadsticks fed three adults and one giant 15 year old football player (6'7" OT). That never happens! Will definitely be ordering from here again!!

I am not a big fan of pizza typically. I worked at Domino's for 2 years in high school so I avoided pizza but my husband talked me into trying Flying Pie and holy cow talk about delicious and hot pie. I will forever be a Flying Pie fan now. While I was pregnant with my youngest boy I craved a certain set of toppings on pizza and we nicknamed it Pregnancy Pizza-we ordered it and it's so much better here than at some fast food pizza joint.

Thank you employees of flying Pie for consistently making amazing food and for consistently having my orders ready when I am doordashing and picking up an order from you guys. I have yet to run into any kind of issue with the orders being incorrect in some way which is a miracle in and of itself. Everyone that works there is having a blast and it shows and the way they treat their customers flying Pie deserves a lot more praise than it gets, sure it's kind of pricey but keep in mind that they are using the highest of high quality ingredients to make your pizza. If you haven't yet please order yourself

Ordered 2 of the italian dips. $7 each! Plus tip. I got there a little late, it was waiting for me, walked home and it was still hot and sooo good! The beef is sliced so thin and not stringy, the bread was soft and chewy and the au JU was hot and flavorful. Need to try one of the traditional Sandwiches next! I've had the pizza too, tons of toppings and pretty good.

Dang I already miss Flying Pie!!! Just recently moved to Arizona and there is no such thing here in the nothingness of the Dessert! Before I left I made sure to get some pie one last time! It was amazing as always and gave me a good memory of Flying Pie being the last real meal I had in Idaho! Good luck and may you have prosperity in the future!!! Thanks for 8 years of the best pizza in the universe...

Fun and quirky pizza place with nice staff. Lots of beer options and the pizza was fine. Like a better version of pizza hut style pies. Would return for some greasy goodness.

Great pizza, they are very generous on the amount of toppings and they have many choices of crust thickness to suit your tastes. For a few dollar more than the average chain pizza restaurants you get so much more.

Loved this place since I was a kid. Moved to St. John's and got it again, haven't had it in years and this place is just as good as I remember. Love all the toppings, mainly a pizza you eat with a fork but worth it.

Stopped in to Portland's Lombard store for the first time to get a pizza to carry out. The store decided they would not allow dine in. That's fine...their choice. I was disappointed, however, they closed their restrooms as I could have really used one while waiting inside for my order. An employee must have told one of the owners I was not happy about the lack of access. A guy named Chris, I believe, approached me and said it wasn't personal, but a decision to keep his employees safe. Probably the same employees I shop with in crowded grocery stores, coffee shops and yes, my neighborhood

Had to wait ten minutes over the 40 minutes quoted to pick up a calzone. After getting it home, ravenous, I found out that it was made incorrectly (I said "light olives" and they filled it with nothing but olives). Called to complain and seek resolution and the manager (or owner?) gave attitude because I requested a refund. "Oh, so you want your $8 back because we left out a few ingredients?" Uh, yes. When 3/5 ingredients are left out due to YOUR error, it's good customer service to offer a refund.

Mistakes happen, but lousy customer service shouldn't. Will never

FP is okay. Pizza is fresh and tasty, I like the decor. There are a few video games, but not what I'd call a curated collection so a missed opportunity. Decent beer selection which is to be appreciated. This is more of regional critique, but why o why do West Coast joints slack on Ricotta in the Calzone? It's mandatory and you won't change my opinion. Pizza got expensive at some point in time. I guess that's life. FP is a great spot for casual gatherings, team end of season shindigs, etc. They'll do a Vegan pie for you and have slices for quick lunch.

This past Tuesday December 10th we had a small family get together and we had all decided on Pizza from Flying Pie Pizzaria. We had ordered 2 large, a Hawaiian and a supreme for carry out. The following day 6 of the 8 family members were sick with vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach cramps. It was for sure food poisoning!! The Health Inspectors need to make a visit to this establishment to see what's going on and make sure they are complying with food handling procedures.

I've tried this place a handful of times but today will be my last. It's overpriced, service is way below average and they can never seem to get my order right. I like extra sauce, the previous two times I've ordered here, they barely put any sauce on and tonight after getting home, I discovered that my 31 dollar large veggie with pepperoni pizza had absolutely NO sauce. I was so irritated that I didn't even bother going back. Waste of time. *sigh*

Their service could certainly use some work too. The older guy that is always at the register is never friendly. I always feel

It was impressive how this place managed to feel like an intimate neighborhood pizzeria but also managed to raise the bar on quality of ingredients.

The pizza crust was a perfect balance of crispy and soft. The ratio of toppings was perfect and generous. The service was friendly and the atmosphere adequate.

It's ok. My wife went here while we were in college and raved about it. I humored her and decided to try it. We got one pizza from my favorite place and one pizza from here. After trying them side by side she decided I was right. I liked the amount of pepperoni on this pizza but I didn't like the flavor at all. To me it tasted stale and spicier than what I prefer. It's not bad pizza but it's not good pizza either. It's over priced at around $23 for a large.

Pretty bad. My fiancé and I were starving and pizza was a great option while travelling through Oregon. First of all, the service left much to be desired but we ordered a ham, pineapple and mushroom pizza - simple right? What we received can only be described as a "mushroom-a-geddon" you couldn't even see the other toppings!!! Complete overkill.Since a picture is worth a thousand words, see attached. We didn't even feed it to our dogs.

Between 11am-4pm daily you can get giant custom slices of the most topping heavy pizza you've ever had (or at least that I've ever had.)
Both times I've gone I've gotten Italian sausage plus whatever veggies I'm in the mood for. The additional toppings are piled on (each one does cost extra, just an fyi,) and the cheese and sauce are in perfect ratio. Amazing. This is not thin crust New York style pizza or a Chicago casserole pizza thing, this is...... Well it's awesome. I was so full from the slice that I started to regret the salad I also ordered. This is a good

Pro: Had great service and some good beers on draft. It also has a family friendly atmosphere.

Cons: Sauce was basically a salt covered in tomato paste. And, though there are plenty of them, the toppings are just not that good.

I'll be steering clear.
