We're currently experiencing an epidemic of opioid addiction in America and an estimated 130 people die each day due to an opioid overdose. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), this is a serious crisis that impacts those dependent on opioids, as well as the general public health.
The discussion surrounding substance abuse and addiction is very often limited to drugs, such as prescription painkillers and other opioids like heroin that are making national headlines. In truth though, illicit stimulants like cocaine addiction continue to be a problem for many Americans.
A 2018 report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found that cocaine-related deaths more almost doubled from 2014 to 2016, resulting in more than 11,000 fatalities.Cocaine use is on the rise in part because many users who are addicted to heroin or other opiates are using cocaine to offset the effects of the opioids.

The neurofeedback lady Becky is very unprofessional. She cries in session about her horse she called me names you don’t just suddenly make judgements about people that are totally wrong or debatable. Even accused me of “staff splitting” I see a girls review from a year ago she was told the same thing after reporting staff behavior that was negatively impacting her mental health. The staff is truly pathetic

Over the years I have sent many people to Pure recovery being an addiction advocate. I watched people turned their lives around and become the people they were meant to be. After a few years of sending people, I decided to apply for a job at Pure,.I wanted to be part of something that was actually working and not the typically merry-go-round of relapse. I noticed a few bad reviews from clients who were kicked out for breaking rules. It's a shame they bash the very people who bent over backwards to try and help them. I always tell people if possible go to the facility and ask for a tour. Talk to

The biggest mistake of my life was choosing this place for treatment. The therapist I was assigned to said it was the best rehab facility, but this definitely has to be the worst. The nurses mixed up medications all the time (I take specific medication for migraine and I had to go days without my medication). I have no idea what the facility is paid to do since they seem clueless about their jobs and seem more interested in gossiping to each other and being on their cellphones than actually tending to the clients. A staff member took my roommate to her house and told her she just didn’t sign

I have been a recovery advocate for former professional athletes for many years . Part of that job requires me to select treatment programs that are well suited for their often complex needs. Finding good programs that truly understand addiction/dual diagnosis issues that are often complicated by cognition and brain trauma issues was a nearly impossible. Then the NFL Alumni connected me to Pure Recovery California. The Pure Recovery programs , which are for everyone not just athletes are remarkable. Their approach to treating addiction as a brain disease and their advanced neuroscience programs

There is a very diverse clientele at Pure Recovery. While the clients are mainly athletes, there are also clients that are in recovery for addiction, I being one of them. I enjoyed the group sessions, and they were very healing. My therapist, Pia, is a true gift, and I would recommend her for anyone healing from addiction. The staff was more like a family and they treated me very well. From the owner Deb to the administration, techs, and nursing staff, everybody was very accommodating to me. A shout out to the chefs, while being there almost thirty five days, every meal was delightful every time

Amenities and location were nice; as advertised. Therapists did their jobs as expected. Everything beyond that failed to meet promises. Group therapy sessions were watching TEDTalks, not beneficial to any clients Involved. Yes, they do use brain mapping and some cutting edge technology. All of which is useless to clients if they do not get a report and have the technical information interpreted for them. I had to make numerous calls and finally received my brain mapping report approximately 6 to 7 months after I left. No attempt was made to translate the images and technical specifications into

I was a former employee of Pure Recovery. I worked there for 2+ years. About 6 months ago my employment was terminated due to valid reasons which I’m not going to get into. I will start off stating based on the principle of Pure terminating my employment proves how ethical this treatment center really is and how much they care about the safety of their clients and staff. I would have to say I have worked many jobs and a handful of treatment centers but I’ve never had such a positive experience as I did working at Pure. I have also dealt with my fair share of substance abuse and I’ve gone

This review is for Bobbi, the woman who answered the phone when I called Pure recovery. I was trying to find a place for my brother. I've had a lot of bumps in the roads and doors in my face in the past. She immediately was helpful, friendly and kind in a way that I haven't experienced in a long time.
You know when you just really need a break? You just need somebody to help you with something because if somebody doesn't help you, you don't know if you're capable of doing it? Well that's how it was and she gave me that break. She was able to help fix my brother up

I don't normally write reviews but I have to be honest. Pure Recovery California GAVE ME MY HUSBAND BACK. I picked him up from the airport a few days ago and he is a NEW MAN. We are currently sitting together and he is telling me about the amazing experience he had. He told me, "It was hard coming to Pure Recovery at first but then I realized how everyone on staff care about me." He said he felt safe and the organic chefs are Amazing! He tried to recreate Maria's "famous" organic tacos last night. My personal take experience with Pure Recovery started when I dropped off my husband crying but knowing

I have worked at Pure Recovery for over 2 years. It has been a true blessing to help individuals change their lives around. Each client’s recovery is unique and I love how we can accommodate to each of their needs. It is a pleasure to work with such a loving group of people who I can call my family.

I have been in and out of treatment since I was 16 years old. With small amounts of success each time at my last relapse I was really looking for a place that thought outside the box. I have severe PTSD from an incident involving capital murder I witnessed at 19. I needed a facility that understood that substance abuse AND ptsd and trauma were a huge issue in my life. Pure recovery has a phenomenal program. The facility is a luxurious one but for me that's not what matters. Therapy, brainwork, spiritual healing, guidance, and, support are what's important to me. I was actually able to

As part of my $40K payment I was promised a "report" on a USB drive detailing my treatments and tests after my 30 day stay. "You will receive it within two weeks" Audrey told me. Still no report months later. SO ONCE AGAIN: unprofessional, fraudulent, incompetent. Even small, simple tasks/promises, they are unable or unwilling to do.
Pure Recovery is, at its core, a dishonest and misleading business led by a slick saleswoman named Deb Whitney. After having serious problems with CTE-like symptoms (10 year NFL vet) I was a client here May 9 - June 6, 2018 (couldn

Pure was truly a miracle of a find. Being their saved me. I was greated warmly & kindly without any judgements. I had severe PTSD, depression, anxiety, multiple concussions and more. Everything about this place was amazing. The nuerofeedback was cutting edge technology and helped so much. The therapists are so kind and understanding, especially Mary. Although it was extremely hard being away from my family I was made to feel like I was a guest on a friends home. The homes are so beautiful and clean. I also have to thank the Owner Deborah for vision and opening this amazing place. She is

Pure Recovery was the best thing that ever happened to me. As someone who has had Post Concussive Syndrome for 15 years and more recent concussions, this place was a miracle. For the first time since having a brain injury, the brain mapping and neurofeedback helped articulate something I have never been able to. I also have struggled with addiction and the trifecta of state of the art Neurofeedback, Holistic services, and top-notch therapy really gave me hope for my future like I have never had before. I connected with the staff here and felt they had nothing but my best interests in mind. Before

I had the most amazing experience at Pure. It was the very best. The neuro program changed my life and I felt safe and cared about there. They helped me with my head injury which had given me migraines and mood swings for years. I was medicating, isolating and finally after 30 days, and lots of individual therapy and neurofeedback sessions, I no longer had the cravings because I felt like my old self again, hopeful and ready to live life. The staff were attentive to my needs and the therapists were so compassionate. There are real healers there and the residences are luxurious, peaceful and beautiful

This is truly a top notch facility with all the comforts of a high class home and more. I received more services than I've seen or have been given at any other traditional rehabilitation center and ive experienced a few. I learned to do yoga, meditate, journal my feelings and thoughts, given a gym membership, massages, yoga, reiki, acupuncture, specialized brain testings and treatment, many types of therapies with really great people, groups and meetings. For me. they even recommended, set up and took me to doctors appointments, my dentist appointment, and also a few specialty appointments
