Had my tranny rebuilt there, but never would go into tow/haul mode. Reason? It was never going into O/D after the rebuild. 14 months later, it burnt up. Took it to another trans shop for another rebuild for $300 less with pretty much a "if you have any problems ever, get it in here no matter time or mileage!" Wasted $2,700 the first round......

Scott and his staff are amazing! The price was fair and honest. He explained what he thought was wrong with my car, test drove it and checked it out, and realized there was a different problem. It ended up being a cheaper and quicker fix, and I got my car back in less than 2 business days. I can't believe how much better my car runs! Highly recommend!

Called to get estimate and a drop transmission and pick up time. The quote for price was a couple hundred over,not bad. Was told if i drop off tues , they would get prices to me wed and if parts could get in they would have by Friday. When I dropped off tues they told me it would be ready next weds... this should have been a red flag but i was like I can reschedule work around it. I get a text that weds asking for my bin so they can order parts, then I'm told if i dont overnight it will be the following tues. I pay to overnight and get my transmission on Fri. Go to put it in and I&apos

There is no worse feeling than being 500 mi from home on vacation and have your transmission fail. I checked around and settled on Alpha Transmission and I am glad I did. They knew my travel time line and prioritized my job so I could enjoy my vacation. Work was good and at a fair price. Had one little issue and they did not hesitate to do what was needed even though I was home by then. Nice guys who did what they said they would.

After driving down to Charleston to visit my sister I had some unexpected issues with my truck. Since I'm not from around here finding a good trustworthy mechanic was something I was concerned about. I called around to about 5 different shops and checked in on reviews and pricing. Mr. Moody the owner of the shop gave me the best price right up front compared to all the other places and also made it work to fit me in immediately so that I wasn't stranded in Charleston any longer then a few hours. Very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable which are all qualities that i was looking
