In accordance to local guidelines, we are now seeing patients for in-person clinic appointments. Pain and Wellness Solutions is pleased to accept health plans from most major insurance providers, giving us the ability to provide care for most patients who walk through the door. Not all Dr.'s that I've worked with have had the time and interest to seem to care instead of running their own agenda. Dr. Wunnova does care and listen and works with my concerns and needs.

Dr Wunnava is the most professional and straightforward pain management specialist I have had the pleasure of visiting, to date. He is the 3rd I have tried.
Patience is key. It took 4 appointments for us to find a treatment plan that worked. My goal was to return to the workforce without the encumbrance and uncertainty of sudden, unmanageable, pain-days. The discomfort along with anxiety of how long an episode might last was truly crippling. Finally, I think we have succeeded and I could not be more thankful. It’s like being let out of an invisible cage always around you. I feel liberty.

Dr. Wunnava has a great bedside manner as well as great listening skills. I appreciate that he sticks to what works for me and does not push for injections and other repeated failed therapies. He’s really good at staying on top of messages you send through the portal. It can be tough sometimes getting someone to answer the clinic’s phone but the staff returns messages within a reasonable amount of time; you just need to leave a voicemail. Dr. W can tap into my summary notes for other hospital appointments I have at Duke which is helpful for him to see there’s a team caring for my chronic

Very professional doctor. Couldn't ask for a better Pain Management Doctor. Dr. Wunnava explains everything to you as he is doing the procedures and takes the time to explain. He and his staff are awesome folks. Very polite and courteous group. Love these folks. I would highly recommend Dr. Wunnava.

Dr Wunnava is patient and kind. His clinical skills are very good. On my recent telehealth visit he was exquisite at telling the emotions on my face, which is so rare.
