Services
You will initially be scheduled for a new patient evaluation to determine if you are an appropriate candidate for Prolotherapy. At this visit, Dr. Duncan will review any pertinent medical records, diagnostic tests such as X-rays and MRIs, and evaluate your condition by doing a history and physical examination.

Dr Duncan is very professional and listens! Her office staff is always friendly and very helpful! My appointments sometimes change due to my job and they are great about being flexible and getting me in! I have been in chronic pain for a number of years due to a awful car accident and I am truly thankful for all Atlantic spine and pain has done giving me back some normal in my life! I heard that Dr. Duncan prescribes medication for opioid addiction, so I stopped by the office to ask questions and make an appointment. The two main things I needed to know were if she prescribes methadone FOR OPIOID MAINTENANCE THERAPY and if, given my situation (recent relapse, etc.) she thought she could help me. The receptionist went to ask these questions to Dr. Duncan and came back to tell me yes to both. Several years ago I was diagnosed with Advanced Degenerative Disc Disease and saw several doctors for this condition who treated me with injections and medication with very little success. Though not a fatal disease, it is not curable. Fortunately, however, I was referred by my Primary Care provider to Dr. Catherine Duncan at Atlantic Pain and Spine, and she has accomplished what four other physicians could not.

I can't say enough about Dr Duncan and her team!!! As a medical provider with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, I am quite particular about my own care and do a fair amount of research on treatments and providers for myself. After discovering prolotherapy and discussing it with my orthopedic provider, I chose Dr Duncan and her team for my prolotherapy treatments, and I couldn't have been more pleased with my choice! I was referred to Dr. Duncan through my PCP and could not be happier with the treatment she has set me up with. Her examination was thorough, and her explanations of the sacroiliac joint procedure and what i could expect were 100% accurate. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is serious about their pain relief, as she will listen and take your situation seriously giving you all the options available. When the band aid approach most clinics give their patients wear off, call Dr. Duncan!
