I called the Ohio Basement Company because we had an accepted offer on a house and needed a quote on the basement to finalize the offer. I called Jake to confirm that we were on, since we had to schedule around both the tenant and the realtor. He called me 15 minutes before our appointment to tell me that he was running an hour late. I was halfway there at that point.

I highly recommend Jake and his team. Jake was very prompt and professional and knowledgeable. He looked at the basement issues we were having and explained in very simple terms why they happened and gave us clear options in how to fix them. In addition, he pointed out the visible clues to what was happening that our house inspector missed when we first bought the property. If I ever need any basement or foundation issues fixed, Jake and his team will be the first I call!

Jake and his team were great to work with. When my basement flooded late on a Friday night, I called this number expecting to leave a voicemail. Jake actually answered and scheduled me for his first open appointment the following Monday. His turnaround time was great and he provided an excellent explanation of what he thought was the issue and the necessary steps to fix the problem. His crew was timely, worked very efficiently and did a great job. They explained how the system works and answered all my questions on the spot.

Scheduled these guys to check out the leak in the basement. As it turns out I ended up ripping down a patch of drywall to reveal a leaky pipe and no foundational issues. I messaged Jake a short time before our scheduled appointment time and informed him of my findings and that the issue probably wasn't worth his time since it looked like I needed a plumber. He still showed up and asked to take a look since he was there. He asked if I wanted him to fix it and how far away the nearest Home Depot was. He left to get the parts, returned with everything he needed and gave me the receipt. He cut out

I contacted The Ohio Basement company to repair a leaking wall in a very old building that I maintain. The entire process was painless we set up a time to look at the job, went over everything and received a quote later that day. After that we set up a time to get the repairs done, they were in and out in 3 days and I haven't had a hint of water since. I highly recommend you give them a call if you have water or foundation issues.

Jake and his team did a wonderful job installing our sump pump! It was the best work at the most reasonable price. I will recommend Ohio Basement Company to everyone I know! From start to finish this was by far the best experience I have had with a home repair company. The whole crew was nice and professional. They were honest, fair, and upfront about everything! Jake and team were extremely professional from start to finish. Even when some unforseen hiccups accorded, they were right on top of it! Pricing was absolutely beyond fair. Even with them having to do extra work, there was no additional costs to us. Very rare for a company to do that. Can already tell and feel the difference in the basement. No musty smell and feels so much more dry. Thank you guys! We finally have a usable basement.

Jake and his team are the real deal. They were timely. They were respectful and professional. They cleaned up the basement daily after every day’s work. And above all else they were honest and more than fair. They came back after the original install because I underestimated our issue. Jake realized the problem and fixed it without additional cost. We would rate them as a 10 star company if we could. Do not call anyone else. But if you must, do yourself a favor and make sure you include Jake and his team when you shop the job. My house has an overhang that had been sagging about two inches for quite a while, leading to some serious floor sloping in the living room. I looked around for the best reviewed local company and found The Best Basement Pros. I gave them a call, and even though he was busy on another job Jake took the time to talk to me about my problem and sent their head engineer, James, out that evening to do an inspection and estimate.
