Through her trigger point work as a dry needling specialist, she has expanded her specialties to treating other chronic pain conditions, includnig pelvic pain, fibromyalgia, chronic pain syndrome, and so on.As a chronic pain and pelvic specialist, Dr. Yuchin Chang has come to appreciate the contributions of multiple components to complex chronic pain and pelvic issues.
Many women suffer from severely painful menstrual cramps, or Dysmenorrhea, frequently for years. The common symptoms are severe abdominal pain and bloating during menstruation, combined with severe menstrual cramps. The severity of pain with menstruation can be so great that one has to rest in bed and/or take prescribed pain medication.
Constipation is a common phenomenon among various age groups, and it can be often solved or lessened by taking more fiber, drinking more water, or increasing physical activity. When one has persistent abdominal pain with constipation, no urge for bowel movements, and/or frequent strain with bowel movements, medical treatment should be sought.
Urinary incontinence is one of the most common bladder dysfunctions, and is especially common in women. Following childbirth, women can suffer from postpartum urinary incontinence due to core weakness and/or pelvic floor scarring. Pelvic physical therapy for urinary leakage therapy specially focuses on the pelvic issues and addresses tissue adhesion after surgery, bladder organ prolapse, and urinary incontinence.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Chang. She is honestly the smartest and most caring doctor I have ever met. She works wonders for the body and soul and taught me how to take care of myself outside the office. I recommend her to everyone I know that are in need or thinking about seeing a PT.

Dr. Chang has helped me tremendously with pelvic (primarily bladder) issues stemming from the birth of my daughter. Unlike other physical therapists, she does not require three appointments a week. When I first started with Dr. Chang in August, I went about every three weeks. Around the New Year I started going about once a month. Soon after I began therapy, I noticed great improvements.
She spends a good amount of time assessing, treating, and explaining any issues. I have learned so much from her about the connections between organs, muscles, and ligaments as well as the effects of emotional

Highly recommended. I have been experiencing chronic pain since a hip replacement. I've tried many solutions but this is the best treatment and therapy bar none.

Dr. Chang's technique was highly effective yet gentle in healing my pelvic floor weakness. She was also able to release other pain and pressure in other parts of my back and body. She really understands how the body works and gives easy to follow exercises to do at home. I highly recommend her!

I have had pelvic pain for years due to endometriosis. I have seen physical therapists who helped to a degree. More recently, the pain along with associated nerve pain around my body, intensified to the point where each day was a battle. Dr. Chang truly listened to my story and my body. She has an entirely different approach that step by step dealt with peripheral issues until finding and addressing the issue at the source - adhesions. The treatment is gentle and homework mandatory, yet tailored and easy to follow. Dr. Chang is responsive, supportive and realistic. I have gone from being unable

I was blessed to have received good follow up news after chemotherapy and pelvic radiation, but for almost three years I tried just about everything to find relief from the collateral damage of the treatment I spent a small fortune bouncing from one doctor to another looking for understanding and a recommendation and I spent hours researching on my own. As you can imagine, I began to loose hope and I started to believe that I would need to accept a lifelong chronic condition. I have only been a patient at Whole Body Wellness for 6 weeks and already I have experienced improvement and maybe even

I highly recommend Yuchin, especially for chronic issues that have not responded to traditional physical therapy. She thinks "outside of the traditional care box" to develop a treatment plan for you. It was not until I started treatment with her that I began to believe that healing was possible. Today, I am highly functioning despite having chronic spine issues for many years.
If you are experiencing chronic pain, call her today! It will be the most important step you take to regain your health.

In the course of three years, I’d been to six physical therapists specializing in pelvic pain but found no long-term relief. Having been an athlete all of my life, becoming sedentary was an awful feeling, both physically and mentally.
Thankfully, a PT I’d been seeing suggested I see Yuchin and I went for an evaluation. She immediately put me at ease, and throughout the course of her evaluation made me feel confident that she could help for the long-term. She listened to my goal of getting back on my bike and formulated a plan which includes an at-home program that has been very helpful.

As an MS patient I see many physicians and have been to many physical therapists over the years. Yuchin is one of the most dedicated and caring medical providers I have ever worked with. She listens to my issues and asks questions to ensure she fully appreciates the problems.
Her treatment is creative, thoughtful and individualized. Instead of just treating symptoms, she takes the whole body into consideration and looks for the cause of the problems to focus her treatment. She asks for feedback on how the treatment is going and modifies her approach as needed to ensure optimized results. She is
