Contacted Doug to get a consultation on installing a sound bar and speakers to go with my new 65" television. Doug got me on his schedule quickly and showed up on the date and time agreed upon. He was very considerate and followed all the COVID-19 protocols. He was also a walking wealth of information and helped me make some key decisions on the sound system I should get to get the right sound quality I needed for my particular needs. Great experience from start to finish. Doug is fantastic, his decades of experience show and it was fun talking about the evolution of the industry with him. I had Best Buy come out and do a system revamp and it was an unmitigated disaster. Nothing worked properly, the Universal remote was hardly universal and on and on. I struggled with it for almost a year and finally decided to do something about it.
I called a few companies and settled on Kustom Install. They have been beyond superb. Doug Stevens came out did an analysis and was not trying to upsell us more equipment but pointed out that some of the equipment we had was actually top notch. I found Kustom Install with google search and when Doug called me back I was impress that he was more concerned with doing everything with everyones full knowledge and consent. he was not in any hurry to push something on me. He came and looked and we met. Doug is a very personable man and a pleasure to know. He made an estimate and an appointment of me. Doug was right on time and was quick to put all my wall mounted TV and wires in the right places. Found Kustom Install on Yelp initially to help install two soundboards and get our home theater back in operation. Doug came to our home and at our request did a complete review of our existing TV/audio/WiFi systems. Within a day he provided an estimate of equipment needed and labor costs to integrate and upgrade our setup. (Turned out we had built in speakers which made one of the sound bars redundant and we were able to return it for a complete refund.)
We opted for a complete upgrade including a 'mesh' WiFi setup, Roku for streaming, new remotes and several other upgrades.

Doug at Kustom Install is one of the nicest guys we have come across in this line of work and others. He listens to the client's needs and gives input based on his experience. They have a high quality of workmanship and will work with any budget. If you need anything audio/video related at your home/business do not hesitate to give them a try. You will not be disappointed.
