After having some issues with my car idling low, I ended up taking it to a transmission shop to get it further diagnosed. My car was inspected by Mike and he was honest and fair. He let me know that he would take a look at it, let me know what he could do, and price me after. The source of the issue looked like more of an electrical problem than a transmission problem and he called up my local Nissan dealer to explain what was going on and then referred me over. When searching for the right shop, I wanted to find someone who actually worked on cars, not just a front office guy managing a herd of inexperienced YouTube mechanics.

In my opinion, Mike and his team are top notch professionals. Our car sat idle for much of the last year due to COVID so going on a road trip was bound to bring some issues to light (and they appeared alright). Despite us having the dealership closest to our home give us the green light for a road trip, our transmission control module went out. In my opinion, Mike under promises so that he can exceed his customer's expectations. This is the best mechanics shop in the area...period. They do great work, way reasonable price and they won't rip your head off. One time Mike even told me I should try to get my brakes fixed under the warranty before going ahead with a $400 job which I was fully prepared to do.
We have four cars with two of them being classics, a Studebaker and a Buick Electra 225 plus a Chevy Silverado and a Dodge Dakota and they all go to Advantage Auto Care!

I was shopping for a used car for my girlfriend and took in some cars for pre purchase inspections. Really good price for that, but additionally, Mike went so far above and beyond to make sure we knew what we were looking at that it blew my mind. He's clearly someone who is extremely good at what he does, but most importantly he is HONEST. I've never had the pleasure of dealing with a mechanic that shoots as straight as him. If you're in the Temecula area and need anything done to your car, it would be an absolute shame to pass this place up.

Totally unprofessional mechanic. First takes my car to drive test it (20 min) without asking me. Second- you get paid to do your job as a mechanic, not to share us your personal feelings.
I'd take my car anywhere else if I'd known.
1- It's a 2014 Volkswagen Passat wolfsburg edition.

After calling several locations I contacted AA and spoke with Mike. Not only was Mike a knowledgeable mechanic he was able to accommodate my immediate need for the inspection and he was very transparentand kind.
I met Mike the next morning with the owner of the used vehicle and I was provided accurate, professional and timely service..
As a single female looking to buy a used car was very nerve wreaking

Mike the owner at Advantage automotive is great, you hear horror stories of mechanics... totally not the case with mike. I've brought two different cars here after shopping around for an honest automotive shop. Have brought multiple cars in for regular oil changes over the last couple of years. Fair price, quick in and out. Waiting area is basically the office, so it's not a traditional waiting room, but I'm here to get my car taken care of. Notified me my tires were balding. Recommended Barney's, which is where we go for tires anyway. Trust him over jiffy lube any day.

Had an issue with my secondary air pump in my 2001 BMW 330CI. Called and explained my issue. Technician gave me his opinion based on his experience with the same issue with other cars. Didn't try and sell me on coming in to scan the car and answered my questions honestly. His advice helped me fix the issue with my car on my own. Saving me the time and money. Unlike another shop swore that the O2 sensors were not my issue and tried to get me to believe my only solution was to come in and pay to have my car scanned. Have had multiple great experiences at Advantage Automotive, owner is super honest and reliable. Brought my Dodge Durango in for new breaks and rotors and turned out I didn't need breaks just my rotors turned. Also helped me out after I locked my keys in my car right after I left the shop. (Lol) Definitely recommend!

Was referred to Advantage Automotive from a buddy. All I have to say is Great customer service, Mike answered all questions and was straight up honest. Didn't try selling me anything I didn't need. My car was having issues with the catalytic converter, Mike worked his magic and figured out 1 of my O2 sensors went out. Me and my finance were asking about Pumpkin Patches to visit and Mike referred us to a local winery that had a pumpkin patch. Got to see some pig races, train ride and overall great experience. I know him for a year or so. He was my mechanic. I trusted him. When I had an issue on my car, he said its no more good and would be costly to fix it! he lead me to left my car and let him sell the car for me. I left My pink on the dashboard and leased a car. later for some reason I had to leave Temecula and move out. i haven't heard from him for a while then I called him up. He said he cannot sell the car, it doesn't worth, so that I can come down and get my car. I drove to his shop and he said that just wait here until I close my shop and we go together
